5.0 out of 5 stars Very strong and lots of value

There was a lot of thread that was very strong. Plus, there is a pop-out mechanism on the top of the spool that you can use to clip your unused string to keep it from unraveling.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's called heavy, not "heavy duty".

This is a nice heavy poly thread, thicker than regular thread but not as thick as upholstery thread and not as strong as nylon thread. If you aren't a thread expert please read the description. It tells you the intended uses and the recommended needle size.

This is my go-to thread for topstitching clothing.

Used to repair a rug - thicker thread was called for - this fit the bill.
