The kit comes with everything you need short of a heat source. It comes with 4 handles, and an attachable set of letters and number (and some additional symbols). The handles are compatible with other wood burning kits I have used as well.
The case is "Ok", but definitely better than nothing. Each letter and number has it's own plastic case however.
The gloves it comes with are a throw away item and really don't protect against heat.
