5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeds my expectations.

This is written by a 74year old woman. I read all of the reviews carefully, so I lowered my expectations. I used it on my siding after charging the batteries. Heavy Moss on the north side. I worked beautifully. Enough pressure to do the job without going over it a second time. I love the various settings. The other thing I really like is the recommendation of using one of those shrivel up hoses. I have that and it makes it so much easier and lighter to use. It also comes with a siphon and works great on a lake especially to hose off boats. If I had one complaint it is the short battery life and very slow recharging. I was aware of that from other reviews so I cannot deduct for that. My solution was to buy the set of 24V 4Ah batteries and dual quick charger after ascertaining that would work with this. Genuine Greenworks parts. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I am now looking around to clean other things, patio furniture, deck prep for painting, and car wash, etc. Also easy to put together when you receive it. I would definitely recommend to others with the battery issue caveat. I think you can buy this without the batteries and then buy the 4Ah ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and easy to use

I have 5 other Greenworks products. This makes power washing easy. It can hook up to an outdoor hose with a click on adaptor or to a bucket of water with a hose included. It doesn’t have the power of the big power washers but for small jobs it works beautifully.

4.0 out of 5 stars good pressure washer

For the price that I paid, it's a good pressure washer. It's not super strong but it gets the dirt and grimes away. Made my car floor mats look clean

This pressure washer works better than I thought an electric one would work. It’s easy to put together and use once it’s hooked up.

1.0 out of 5 stars A fatal design flaw renders it useless

I'm writing this review not because I'm angry at or to trash Greenworks. I have several of their 24v outdoor tools and they work great...The pressure washer, however, has a flawed design. After the one I bought on Amazon broke, Greenworks sent me a replacement; it broke within 5 minutes of using it for the first time.

Here's the design flaw: The place where the garden hose connects to the body of the washer is plastic and molded into the body itself. It's not a separate piece that can be replaced. I'm sure that saves some on manufacturing cost, but it makes the hose connector really weak.

I used the first washer (the one I bought on Amazon) for a couple of months before it developed a crack where the hose connector joins the washer body, and began leaking. I contacted Greenworks and they sent me a replacement. The first time I used it was to wash my car. Within 5 minutes -- literally -- the place where the hose connects just blew off, leaving a hold in the body of the washer.

I contacted Greenworks again. They offered to send me another one! I declined, so then they offered to send me a larger corded pressure washer. I didn't want a corded washer and they wouldn't give me a refund because I had bought the original washer on Amazon. Finally, they agreed to send me a 24v hedge trimmer I had been looking at.

As mentioned, I own a number of Greenworks 24v outdoor tools: string trimmer, blower, pole saw and push mower. All have performed well...But the pressure washer simply has a fatal design flaw.

After that experience, I did some research and wound up buying a Ryobi 18v brushless pressure washer at Home Depot. All my indoor power tools are Ryobi One+ 18v, so I already had compatible batteries. Unlike the Greenworks model, the place where you connect the garden hose is a separate piece that fastens to the washer body. Much more solid build quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality
Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2022
I had bought a cheaper one years ago that just died. I wanted a better quality one and ordered another off-name brand, but one that got good reviews. It was all made of cheap plastic with low grade hoses and fittings, so I returned it because it "wasn't as advertised" and ordered this Greenworks instead. I am so thrilled that I did that. This one arrived and the first thing I noticed is that the frame is metal! It also has standard high pressure fittings so I can use my homemade high pressure hose with it. I've only used it once so far, but I love it, the quality for such a reasonably priced washer is superb! It's also much quieter than my last electric washer. The pressure is really good and I appreciate the nozzle holder right on the handle. I plan to use this a lot this summer as I do handyman work for people around my area. I only hope it lasts a long time.

3.0 out of 5 stars Plastic connector snapped when using it
Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2024
After using it only twice, the plastic male connector snapped off the hose connection while I was using it. I even had a soft flexible hose, not a hard type. Now it unusable and I'm out of $ 150. I was thinking by having a cordless power washer was the way to go.
