It does exactly what it's supposed to. I typically smash burgers between 2 pieces of parchment paper and it's time to cook. This item is simple, little weight, strong and easy to clean. Just toss it in the dishwasher. I'm thrilled with this no-frills, fairly priced kitchen tool.
