Even better price than official website, the fact that you buy on Amazon then you don’t need to give out credit card for automatic renewal is great. The information I posted below about NordVPN not working on the list of routers is only partially correct. NordVPN tells me their software cannot be installed on any of the routers on that list. My issue is on a Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G smartphone. After months of contact with NordVPN support, I still cannot keep a reliable VPN connection on my phone so for now, nothing has changed. NordVPN continues to lose its connection to the NordVPN network servers every few minutes. It's so unreliable that I cannot rely on it to protect me thus the reason for this negative review.

AVOID NordVPN like the plague. This is from the NordVPN website, "On 1 December 2018, NordVPN’s servers stopped supporting L2TP/IPsec and PPTP connections." Because of this, the list of routers below are NO LONGER SUPPORTED. That's something they DON'T TELL YOU BEFORE YOU BUY! How sad this is, advertise like crazy on TV about how secure their software is and how it protects your privacy but then after a couple months of email exchanges with NordVPN support they send me to their website that shows all the most popular router brands on the market today that are NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THEIR SOFTWARE. >>> UNBELIEVABLE <<< This company should be listed as A SCAMMER because just about everyone has one of the brands listed below.

You might be able to install NordVPN cleanly on your cell phone, TV, or PC but every 15 minutes or so the connection drops and your data and privacy are at risk. Or, if your router is listed below, perhaps you never did have a secure, private, VPN connection at all? How secure is that? NordVPN even had the nerve to tell me to setup split tunneling as a way to fix my connectivity issue. Even their support staff doesn't know, or won't tell you, that their software is incompatible with your router. The work around is to install firmware from a different source than your router manufacturer. I guess you have to know which firmware is more secure now. This is a horrible way to treat customers.

I was going to buy just NordVPN but saw an ad on the Amazon NordVPN page to buy Bitdefender also. I trusted the ad and bought both products, but have sometimes had significant difficulties trying to run them both at the same time unless I turn on the physical internet access before I boot the computer.

The products actually overlap: Bitdefender also has a VPN, and then apparently the VPNs struggle to take control of the port. And unfortunately there is no way to turn off Bitdefender's VPN, so Bitdefender is all or nothing. And NordVPN's write-up says that if you run NordVPN, you don't need anti-virus software, but I thought a VPN was only to monitor the data coming in and out and then to monitor, encrypt, and block it as needed. Whatever else NordVPN is doing sounds beneficial, except that there is more potential for conflict with Bitdefender.

My impression is that the two products are in competition, with each trying to be a total solution, and preventing customers from using only individual components. Amazon, please don't post ads to buy NordVPN and Bitdefender together. Those ads might have been appropriate before Bitdefender added its VPN, but not anymore.

I think that Amazon neeeds to just let sales of both produts occur naturally, with people choosing one or the other, and then appropriate and positive customer reviews will be written and posted for each product. My task at this point is to choose which one to keep and which one to de-install.

it is good for the price for the complete version for half the price. It is a premium vpn but most streaming platforms ban vpn and most stores vpn would block it.
