I had to request that the order be replaced through amazon due to it being lost, that's not the seller's fault, and was given a replacement free of charge, which may have been from the seller, not sure, but that's not the main point.
The Coin itself is in a great condition, I'm baffled that a coin produced 45 years ago by a country that has been extinct for ~ 28.3 years can still be in such a good condition. From what I can tell, it has also not been cleaned, in the past by anyone at all.
Specifics on the condition :
• The Obverse double star surrounding the hammer and sickle still has sharp edges
• The Rim of the coin on the obverse side is in pristine condition, while the reverse rim is ever so slightly worn
• The dates and lettering on the front is completely visible and does not appear more worn the closer to the rim
• Hair and facial details of the statue are visible, as well as the individual fingers on the sword
• The sculptors signature is still visible [And it is thin on non-worn/circulated coins]
• Beams of light are present as one would expect
• Lettering on the side of the coin is still very legible and present, even all 5 points on the star are sharp and visible
• Parts of the back side where it is smooth has no scratches visible in ambient lighting, directly in a light few very fine and minor scratches are noticeable
• Details on the wheat on the reverse side are fully present, even between the openings of the ribbon spun around it
• All lines below the earth are visible and are not worn down
• The star on the reverse side is visible, including it's outline
It should be noted that the coin does not have the surface clarity of MS grade coins, as it has been circulated and possibly slightly worn down because of it.
Overall, it's an amazing coin, if you want one that is in a great AU condition, buy this over the 3 pack of commemoratives, as while I don't own the pack of 3, I can attest to the condition of this one and can say that based on looks alone, this one is much better than ones you might receive in bundle packs, and that outside of unopened proofs or truly uncirculated coins, this is about as good as you're going to get.
