Whether you Call These Saltines or Soda Crackers These are Good!

I'm trying to cut down on the volume of groceries I need to carry home. So it's nice to have these delivered. What's also nice is the Subscribe and Save price per box is about $0.70 less than my grocery store brand and lots less than the well known brand. Arrived with only a few corners broken which for me isn't a big deal. The right amount of saltiness, crisp as can be and with an airy flakiness about them. I'm very pleased!

I haven't purchased saltine crackers in while. When I came to Amazon and saw the price of the name brand I've always purchased, I almost choked. I checked other venues and, to be honest, I did see the price was lower but still not as low as Amazon Fresh saltines. What the heck...why not try them. I have a subscription so I get quick delivery without having to have a minimum order although I did wind up buying a few other things. It didn't seem fair to ask Amazon to deliver a $3 order. Although it doesn't say anything about "free return", Amazon has always treated me fairly. If something was terribly wrong with the crackers I felt confident I would get fair treatment but again...it was only $3. I purchased Amazon Fresh Original Saltine Crackers. AM I GLAD I DID. These are the absolute best saltine crackers I've ever had. They are so fresh and crisp and the taste is excellent. I've saved money and gotten the best saltines I could ask for. Bravo Amazon and thank you!!!

Very Nice, HOWEVER…

Great crispy crackers, which is more remarkable as it’s rainy season in subtropics. The box itself felt , as most everything does this time of year, somewhat dampish. Weather, nothing to do for that.

Light, flaky, nice salty as name implies, my favorite texture for saltines, however, very pale and not done cooking. For all the great texture, because they were underdone, a bit floury tasting.

My first box, so if that’s a regular thing I’ll bake them a bit before I eat them.

Probably THE cracker to chose for cooking things like that popular crack candy, melting cheese onto them or anything that’ll finish cooking… if this slightly underdone is the way they come always.

Still, we ate the whole sleeve with cheese and stuff.

I’m a bit anemic and crave a saltines as they are also easy on the stomach. I usually get premiums at the store but lately I’ve been a bit of a saltine addict and going through them quickly. I decided to order a couple of different kinds and this is the only one I liked. It’s not as dry and hard like a water cracker, but it’s softer yet still crunchy and satisfying. It also has more salt than the other saltines or at least is more consistent - some brands one bag will be good and the other is not. As for under $2 you can’t beat it

Even each sleeve of crackers are individually pack and it seals , it seems as the packing material is not good , the first sleeve was crunchy, two weeks later I opened
another sleeve and it taste old and soft , even with a good expiration date is in 2025. May be believed it how the crackers were packaged.

I was worried they might not be fresh or that they might be crushed, but when I got them All my worries disappeared. They were very fresh and not one of them was crushed excellent cracker.
