This socket fit great being slim side walls. Quality is great and it has performed as it should with no deformation from use on a half inch impact.

Give up with that pos they sell at the home improvement store for removing your water heater element. It's not gonna do it. This is a high quality socket that's gonna last you forever, for a super cheap price. You will however need to grind the end of the socket flat so that it will fully engage the stamped nut on the element. I turned mine on a lathe giving it a good bite and used a 20v impact. Boom worked like a charm.
