About this item

One Ingredient / It's Just! Allulose is an essential household sweetener substitute. Use like sugar; No junk, no fillers, no additional ingredients. Premium, high quality stand-up pouch with resealable zipper for maximum shelf life
Keto Sugar Substitute / Allulose is a simple sugar, not metabolizied by the body making it low-calorie. Almost no impact on blood sugar levels so it's diabetic friendly, keto and paleo friendly
Bakers Choice Sweetener / Ultra-fine granular texture, dissolves quickly; ideal for baking and mixing. Also, studies show allulose generally resists fermenting in the gut which may promote digestive comfort for sugar sensitivities. Great for keto, paleo, vegetarian baking
Guilt Free Treats / Allulose caramelizes and browns exquisitely for cookies, pie crusts, and caramel sauces. Rare sugar that naturally occurs in select fruits such as dates and figs. It usually tastes less sweet compared to sugar, but reported to be clean-tasting, no aftertaste

The price is good, it's allulose as far as I can tell without lab testing. No, it's not a real sugar substitute, you would have to use an ungodly amount to even come close and then it still doesn't taste like sugar. No, it won't sweeten your coffee or tea, but it is great for keto recipes, I use it for keto Ninja Creami ice cream and am happy with the level of sweetness in that use case.

The taste, or should I say, lack of taste is great! I have been using stevia, but it does have an after taste. There will be a gradual conversation to allulose.

Likes: No after taste, NO funny feelings after use. More like a powder sugar texture.

Not sweet as sugar, gives my coffee balance.
Be careful not to shovel, very easy to add a lot to get a sweet taste.

5.0 out of 5 stars Favorite, go-to sweetener in my house!

Reliable quality, checks all the low carb boxes & is the go-to sweetener in my house! About 70% as sweet as cane sugar, this non-glycemic sweetener will soothe your sweet tooth while helping you towards your health goals. I use it for ice cream making & baking (with alternative flours like, Coconut, Almond & lupin.)
No complaints from family or friends, who can't tell the difference! Acts & bakes much like cane sugar in recipes. A little pricier than other sweetener blends, but worth it!

As it says on the bag - it's just Allulose: the best sugar substitute out there (unless the only thing you care about is calories;allulose does have some caloric value, but zero Carbs.) Great sucrose sugar taste, supposedly has a very very mild cooling effect, but I don't notice it at all, so it's FAR more mild than the Erithrytol cooling. GREAT for cooking/baking; caramelizes, crystalizes, and effects the freezing point of water/etc. like regular sucrose.

Takes a lot if used like regular sugar. Not as sweet as I was expecting. Hoping that it is helping with the reduction of sugar intake.

Actually it’s a sugar. Almost as sweet as table sugar, but apparently no insulin reaction, no tooth decay and little , or no blood sugar increase. No after taste, just a sweet taste. Container is quite large and half full ( sold by weight).

I'm a super taster and a classically trained chef. I am also one of those mutant who finds cilantro tastes like soap. This is what I have to say about the flavor: It starts subtly sweet, has a mid taste is chemical or bitter, just a bit flat- a noticeable shift in flavor and then finishes sweet. If your taste buds are tuned to high fructose corn syrup and refined sugars, this is not going to taste sweet enough for you, I'd say it's about 1/3 less sweet. All of that being said, it could be a good way to step down off of high sugar content.
I cannot tolerate artificial sweeteners; they taste like bug spray and make my tongue go numb AND give me migraines. This may work for me. I'll keep you posted if there's any migraines or tummy aches. I'm taking it slow and easy. As much as I want to dump some of this into my next batch of protein powder ice cream, I'll need to work my way up to a whole 5grams.
