I purchased this game for my grandchildren, ages 2,3,4,5 & 8. Obviously it's easy for the 8 year old, and she enjoyed it. The others could play all the games with no difficulty and giggled all the while they played. They loved batting the monkeys and scored higher than me on the soccer.
The fruit game was a little difficult at first, but they quickly caught on, and they all love to color! I would definitely recommend this game for children, but admit to enjoying it myself.

this is cute and has some great activities for children. I had expected another game similar to the first one but that's not the case with this game. This is definately for children 12 and under. The kids like it very much and enjoy playing the games and doing the coloring. It's not quite what I would call a game for adults though.

This is the same developer of the strawberry shortcake apps which have been a hit in our family. The coloring area is a huge hit with the kids they love that they can spray glitter on too! It has three games, two of which are simple enough young children could play easily but they still entertained my 8 and 10 year olds. The third game is trickier for younger children but great for the older. I like the variety so that the app appeals to a larger age range. As a parent I love that the story when being read by the app highlights the word as it is said to encourage word recognition and teach young readers basics like words travel left to right while being read. But for older children the voice can be turned off so they can read it themselves. We have used it on the kindle HDX and also last year's model of the kindle HD. A great app to add for your children that love the Rio movies!
