This gel polish lasts a long time and the colors are exact to the description. I Like that you can add multiple layers and it still maintains a translucent look. When I ordered them, I liked all the colors except the grey ,but it was worth getting them for the colors I do like. Once I tried them , the grey is one of my top favorite colors in the bunch. The only thing I don't like is the darker purple(more bugandy) tends to come out a little blotchy . I will try to shake the bottle up really well next time and see if that helps.I would recommend buying these , they are very good and worth the money.

Brown, Brown & More Brown
Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2024
I have a slight addiction to Brown nail polish. I have 55 bottles of Brown Polish and still looking for more. When I came across this set from Gaoy, I had to have it. The set of 6 bottles with the color name of: Fall Shades is absolutely stunning. I chose the darkest shade of brown #2389 to start the month of September. The polish was easy to apply, it wasn't too thick and allowed me to apply thin layers. I used 2 layers to get the desired effect, each layer was cured 60 seconds. Gaoy brand is known for excellent performance and typically the polish will last 3-4 weeks without lifting or chipping.
I usually change my Brown Shade each week that way it gives the appearance that my manicure was just done.
I would recommend Gaoy Gel Polish set of 6 polishes.

GAOY Rose Garden Jelly Gel Nail Polish Set: Easy to Peel Off with Color Variations
Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2024
Having recently tried the GAOY Rose Garden Jelly Gel Nail Polish set, featuring six transparent shades in nude, red, pink, and brown tones, I'm sharing my detailed review of this product:
Let's start with the positives. One standout feature of this nail polish set is its ease of removal. While some may find this to be a disadvantage, I personally appreciate the convenience it offers. Being able to change nail colors effortlessly is a great perk, especially for those who like to switch up their manicures frequently.
Moving on to the colors themselves, there is a slight variation from the pictures on the website. The shades tend to appear a bit darker and more brownish in reality, which is something to keep in mind when selecting colors. Additionally, the actual color can be influenced by individual skin tones, adding another layer of variability.
One thing to note is that the stickers on the bottles don't always accurately represent the true color inside. As a result, I found myself referencing the website photos to get a better idea of the actual colors before applying them.
Despite these minor discrepancies, the GAOY Rose Garden Jelly Gel Nail Polish set offers a range of versatile colors suitable for salon-quality gel manicures and nail art projects at home. The easy removal adds to its appeal, making it a practical choice for those who enjoy experimenting with different nail looks. Overall, it's a valuable addition to any DIY nail care collection.

Beautiful colors, standard longevity and removal for gel polish
Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2024
I bought the rose garden set to add to my collection. I have quite a lot of gel polishes from various companies, and have been doing gel on bare nails and on gelx extensions for about 4 years. The colors are well-represented by the swatch photos - the two darkest are very jelly-like, while the lighter 4 are milkier, but still with good transparency. They came nicely packed and are a decent size (unlike the occasional super tiny bottles that come in these sets), and have a great consistency. With all jelly/transparent colors, it can be challenging to get an even coat of color, but after a few coats I'm very pleased.
I'm currently wearing the red wine color on my bare toenails and gelx fingernails, so I'll update regarding longevity, but I suspect it will last a few weeks until it's grown out and I'm ready to change the color. (update: they did!) For those in the reviews who are having trouble with chipping, here are some tips:
Prep:
- Rough up the surface of your nails to give the gel something to adhere to, then use a dehydrating primer to prep the nail. If the nails are slick, of even have a little bit of natural oils, you'll have issues getting any polish to stay.
Painting:
-Make sure to paint the tip of the nail as well, not just the top. This will help prevent lifting, and generally look nicer.
-Use a thin layer of base coat, cure for 60s, and don't wipe the surface with anything
-Repeat for each coat of color, cleaning up the edges around the cuticle with a wooden stick/ small stiff brush dipped in acetone
-Add a top coat, and cure for 90s. Do NOT add a second layer of top coat, as it won't adhere well. If you need to add another layer of top coat, you must rough up the surface with a file again.
Removal:
-If you want to try an acetone soak, rough up the surface with a file/efile before you start. You can use a bowl, or dip cotton in acetone, apply, and wrap in foil. Expect to soak for at least 15 minutes, possibly more than once.
-I use an efile to remove all of the polish (and my gelx extensions) but it is very easy to accidentally file your natural nail down. If you aren't sure, take off as much as you can safely with the efile, then soak off the rest.
If they're still chipping, consider whether your natural nails are thin and flexible - if you imagine bending an object with paint on it, it's natural for that paint to chip under stress. Consider strengthening/stiffening your nail with an extension or a layer of builder gel to increase wear time.

I LOVE this nail polish! It's the best gel polish that i've used! I've purchased this brand a couple of times, and have not been let down. Their colors are beautiful and last for a long time. This brand works well for me and I would recommend their products.

It cures quickly even when using those portable pen-sized curing lights. The colors are really nice and build-able. It does have a glass effect to them. Love this brand.

Hard to cure, the colors weren't what I expected, after curing fully, the smell made me nauseous, and the paint peeled right off.

Can be as sheer or opaque as you prefer, the colors layer well and the different shades are as advertised. Application is easy and smooth. I would highly recommend this product as someone who has used many different brands of gel polish. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the finished product is not as “gelly” and shiny as advertised but this could be that I need a better top coat.
