These boots are very comfortable for my son who is 15. Ordered a half size bigger but chose to insert a thicker boot insole and is a perfect fit. Will give him a little extra room to grow into. These are water proof. He wears them doing ranch and barn work. He’s constantly in the mud with them and they just need a good spraying down and scrubbing every so often. Clean up well and look like new again with a little leather conditioner. The toes are reinforced toes so will definitely help offset the strike of a horse’s foot but won’t stop it completely. He’s been stepped on a lot but the reinforcement of the toes will normally allow him enough time to quickly slide out his foot before any true weight is applied. For the price, the quality is extremely good. We’re happy with this buy.

These boots lasted me 6 years before I had to get new boots. I work in construction and these boots saw dirt, mud, water, concrete, for over 40 hours a week and they held up tremendously. I went through 3 pairs of insoles because the boots kept holding up longer than the insoles so as a result they kept doing their job, great work boots that are very comfortable and hold up well. Can't recommend enough especially at the price they are.

I’ve had these boots for over three years. They’ve seen all manner of abuse and they’ve held up well. This small hole at the seam is the only issue I’ve had and it is recent. The stock insoles are terrible and I replaced them almost immediately, but otherwise these have been comfortable, reliable boots.

Most boots I have owned take a week or two to start feeling comfortable. These were nice from the start, mostly. I would suggest adding an insole, as there isn't much padding, so for people that walk a lot or work in these, they can get a bit uncomfortable after a few hours without it. Overall one of my better boot purchases.

At first the boots seemed great, but after a month the sole began separating from the rest of the boot. A little less than 2 months now and water can penetrate through to the inside of these “waterproof” boots. For the price I expected them to be much more durable. Very disappointing.

Working in construction, dirt and standing water, I've had good luck in the past with these boots. However, the sole has separated on my last 2 pairs. I need boots that are reliably good quality. I'm going back to Red Wing boots

What a great product for a great price! I wear size 10.5 or 11 in timberland but I wear a 10 in these, I’d recommend ordering a size smaller than you usually wear.

I really love the mix of style and function these boots provide. Many other traditional western boots I looked at had flat soles with very little to no grip. These boots sport a modern workboot nonslip grip. Very comfortable to walk around in and I love the steel toe, great for protection and if you have to defend yourself. The only thing I will say is I wish they came in black.
