According to their online technical support (which is limited - to talk to someone, you have to pay more). An "options" menu in the toolbar is supposed to activate audio recording. There is no "options" menu. There is an audio recording "check" in preferences, but with it checked, there is still no audio. The frustration is requesting technical support: you get a message that unless you pay $33 (or more) you may have to wait a long time to get it.

Like: it's incredibly easy to get started up with and it allows for recording of outgoing audio on your computer as well as ingoing audio. So I can have high quality music as well as high quality mic audio.

Dislike: Nothing really to dislike that I saw except that it's sorta laggy - probably not great for high fps video games. Would likely be okay for watching movies together.

Also dislike: I didn't see any options for balancing ingoing and outgoing audio, so it was difficult to strike a balance between background music and foreground vocals.

The application was easy to install and to use. I was able to record the voice-over as I captured the action from the screen. It saved and exported without trouble, and I was able to share the finished product. That's what I needed!

Very intuitive. Had some trouble with the sound set up, but then everything works well. Just click the edit button after recording and it throws your project into video pad (if you so decide).

Debut by NCH is a great screen recorder. I now use it for all of my videos. It is easily adaptable to all mics and preferences. I love Debut and highly recommend it. Worth the money.
