Precise And Constant Temperature: No need to set, DaToo Fish Tank Heater will automatically keep the water temperature of the fish habitat at 78℉. This temperature is very suitable for betta and most tropical fish. When the water temperature is lower than 78℉, the heater starts to heat and the red light is on. When the temperature reaches 78℉, the heater stops heating and the green light is on. DaToo will always maintain this comfortable temperature for your beloved fish!
The Smallest 25W Betta Heater: For most fish lovers who have small fish tanks of 1 to 5 gallons, a small heater means more space for fish. This is the smallest 25W aquarium heater on the market, only 0.2 inches. No matter how small your fish tank is, it can be used perfectly in it, and you can't even find it. Very MINI!!
Safe And Durable: Unlike traditional plastic seals, DaToo uses a rubber sealing layer, which ensures that DaToo has better sealing and safety performance, and will never leak electricity or water. Quartz glass material, explosion-proof and crack-proof, more sturdy and durable, without worrying about damage.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little heater
Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2023
**Update- this heater keeps a rock solid temperature and works well in
a 5 gal tank. Fyi- before doing a water change, be sure to unplug it and
afterwards give it 15-20 mins before plugging it back in. This will let the
glass cover stabilize and minimize a change of it cracking. Good heater!!

This is a pretty good small heater. This is smaller than a traditional
aquarium heater, and you can't set the temperature as its preset.
(I did buy the temp adjustable DaToo as a backup in case this one didn't
work out or happened to fail)
I have found that it does not run at the stated 78 degrees, as the room
temp seems to affect it. In a 5 gallon tank, with the room temp at
76.4 degrees, the heater warms the water to 80.4 degrees and keeps it
rock steady at that temp. It tends to cycle ON for 4 minutes, then
turn off for 12-13 mins. The red 'ON' LED is quite dim to see, the
green OFF LED is a bit brighter, and the cord is on the short side.
Am using for a Betta and so far so good, will be keeping an eye on it
for reliability and how accurate it maintains temp.

Before this, I was using one of those constant-on 5-watt heaters,
in a 2.5 gallon tank. It did a good job but tended to overheat the
water if left on constant. A work around was to use a electric outlet
timer- set for 30mins on and 1hr off was able to
maintain a stable temp without overheating.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute, small, easy to tell that it's working perfectly
Reviewed in the United States on August 6, 2024
I'm using this for a 3-gallon shrimp tank. It's tiny. It's cute.

There is a very belt-and-suspenders approach to being sure this thing is working properly. It lights a little even when it's not heating the water (I expect it's not heating the water when the room is nearly 90 degrees in August). The light is really only visible when the tank is dark and there isn't too much light in the room, but it's a small square by the bottom, just to clearly indicate it is working. I like that assurance. The little thermometer, which is also tiny and out of the way, would be another indicator, again if it weren't August and showing the water temperature in the 80s without the heater. So you can be certain, if there is a problem, you will know.

But the ambient room temperature does lead to another point. It's small and I don't think it's that powerful. For me, the room is never going below 70 degrees. I'm in an apartment building with a lot of elderly residents, and the super needs to keep the place warm bordering on hot for them. I need the heater. The water will get too cold for the shrimp without it. But not more than say 10 degrees below their comfort level. If you're thinking a tank in say a garage (I know some people who use that as an office and keep a betta there) and you're prone to reasonably cold winters, then this might not be the thermometer for you.

The shrimp seem to think it's a nice platform to sit on. I usually find at least one perched on top.

I like especially how deep I can store it and the suction cups keep it firmly in place. If I'm only doing a one gallon water change (they're shrimp -- they have a really low bioload so changing a gallon a week is fine) then I can keep it plugged in while doing the water change and it stays fully submerged the entire time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Heating good

So far so good. I had it for about three days, and it works well. It is a set temperature, so I am worried that during winter it will work harder to keep water warm, and eventually give out… It comes with a temperature reader that shows the temperature the water is at. It has a light to let you know when it’s heating and when it’s not. Red for heating, and green means the temperature is between 78°F-80°F and has reached it. Now, I am not sure if it’s true or not, but I see a difference when I first didn’t have the heater and the tank felt cold and now it feels at temperature, not cold, not hot. Just good. So hopefully when I get my tank good enough to keep fish, it keeps working during the winter ????

5.0 out of 5 stars worth it

10/10 would buy again.
this heater did the job and kept my little guy warm in his tank. for the price: it’s great quality, doesn’t make any weird noise and is overall durable. the only concern is that it’s obviously huge for a fish’s tank so keep that in mind!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great price but…
Reviewed in the United States on July 6, 2024
This is a great small affordable aquarium heater. It has worked consistently and no fuss. One setting green light means it reached the right temp. Unfortunately, the suction cup is clearly not aquarium grade and totally disintegrated and no longer sticks to the glass walls. I’m going to try and reach out to them for a replacement but if they send the same one then I’m beat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t quite work….
Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2024
I put the heater in, as per instructions, fully submerged. There were no lights that came on so I didn’t know if it was working or not. There is no on off switch. Also, the cord is VERY short. It didn’t reach the plug to plug it in. A bit disappointing. There is a very small paper that only says it’s preset to 68° and to make sure it’s submerged (on one side), the other side of 5he paper says it must have water circulation very near it or it will shut off and not turn back on. For a very small aquarium, the circulation is very soft since It’s only a one and a half gallon tank. There was a free stick on thermometer strip, but the numbers (temperature) didn’t show up.
