5.0 out of 5 stars A gem if you love philosophy!

It's so hard to find magazines on serious Philosophy instead of the worldly "philosophy", but not as intense as a philosophical book like Critique of Pure Reason. This magazine is both entertaining and thought provoking. I can read and relax and learn at the same time. Articles are fun to read and in good quality. The digital copy is very reasonably priced. Best magazine subscription that I've ever had!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Resource

This magazine is an amazing resource. If you are looking for a general survey of the history of philosophy, written at a reasonable and readable level, this is definitely a must have subscription. Also, as someone who teaches philosophy to high school students, it is also a nice way to introduce the important ideas and concepts of the history of philosophy to a high school audience. I highly recommend this magazine.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Articles
Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2020
I really enjoyed the articles in this magazine. I am not easy to please with magazines, but this one really made me think. The articles are well written. This was the first issue I have read, so I'm still in the reviewing process. I hope the articles are as entertaining to come as they were this issue.

5.0 out of 5 stars The accessible source for those interested in philosophy - a must read

The source for those interested in aspects of philosophy. A joy to read. Accessible. Helps to round out a necessarily incomplete education. A launching pad for further exploration and study. Each time we face upheaval as a species we must turn back to Philosophy. We are yet again in one of those times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Philosophy for the rest of us.

Excellent review of current issues in philosophy. It is written for the non specialist in understandable language. Sometimes the writing can be over simplified but then there are times when the subject defies simplification. Not for the academic philosopher but it should please most armchair philosophers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essays both lucid and provocative

It is the concision and clarity of this journal that is its chief virtue. The provocations of looking for wisdom have never been plainer, and the range of topics is yet another appealing feature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great publication!

I am so glad I subscribed. I taught Introduction to Philosophy for 28 years at Yavapai College. This publication is just perfect for a retired philosophy teacher, very relevant to the contemporary zeitgeist.
