First I purchased U2-smart but the volume was too low, and I couldn't control the volume. Now I got the newest machine (U2-plus) which is smaller than older version. I was anxious if this product works perfectly for my 2022 Toyota Sienna. Set up is very easy and fast, and everything works great! I can watch youtube, Netflix and I can control the volume using original car system without any issue. Sound and video quality is very good. Also I can download Netflix video which is very useful. I can download some Anime episode at home using our home Wifi, and bring them to our long drive.I just downloaded Crunchroll and Amazon Prime Video app as well. This little machine is very useful!!

My experience with this seller was outstanding. I purchased a wireless  CarPlay adapter and it worked great. Then when  updated their iOS software, it started to become unreliable. OTTOCAST offered to send me a new one as well as pay postage for my returning the old one. Then they decided that a new one of the same model might have the same kind of problems, and I would have to go to the trouble of returning it. So they are sending me their latest CarPlay adapter, a faster and better model than the one I had. These people could not have been nicer. They really know what it means to stand behind their products and keep their customers happy.

 When I received my ottocast u2-plus I plugged it in and worked right out of box, once I had in for a few days I noticed certain apps said they weren’t compatible, did some digging found it was using an older version of firmware. I tried using instructions that came with and it didn’t work, I contacted tech support with WhatsApp and Anna walked me through all the steps, I’m ok with electronic but no where’s near tech savvy as my 5 year old granddaughter and I figured it out with Anna from techs support. Been a few days since update and everything works better than I had dreamed I have a complete entertainment system in my truck!! Love it

Very happy! I ordered a few others to compare. This was the only one that let me play Netflix AND Prime Video, and also kept accurate time on the display and had accuracy when using Maps. With all others I tried, one or more of these features didn't work. I initially needed to download some updates and do just a little trouble shooting to get everything working properly. But I'm really happy now. The only thing I've noticed that it can't do is cast to my car tv's in the back seat. But I'm not sure if thats even possible to do, so it's probably not an issue with this product.

Had it for almost a week and I’m fully satisfied and impressed with how fast it connects to CarPlay. As soon as I turn on my car and the mazda screen loads the wireless carplay connects. It really just takes seconds. The connection is very stable. I have also tested Pandora, Spotify, x SiriusXM, phone calls and Navigation using the WAZE App and didn’t experience any audio delays at all. Performs as well as if it was built into the car by the manufacturer. I placed it inside the center console and replaced the cable that came in the box with a shorter cable.

I just set this up in my new 2022 Honda Civic Sport because for some reason it doesn't have built in wireless carplay. I'm using a iphone 13 pro max, I plugged it into the usb port for the carplay, I connected to the only bluetooth device in my car, it says AUTO something, and boom my phone showed up and carplay connected. It also works while my phone's in my pocket. I didn't have to update it or anything, and now i just get in my car and go with my music and waze showing on my dash, simple.

Item works as advertised. I have not experienced any lag or problems or issues, it’s as if iPhone were directly plugged into the system, which is exactly what I needed it to do. I’ve had it for a few months and it auto connects 99% of the time. On those occasions where it doesn’t seamlessly auto connect, It takes less than 30 seconds to connect from the time I press the CarPlay button on my car‘s system. On some rare occasions I have to remove it from the USB port slightly and plug it back in, then business as usual.

READ UPDATENot sure what’s going on but I even received a replacement unit and it has the same exact issue. Within 10 minutes of connection on every single ride the audio of whatever is playing starts coming through really static-y and distorted. It makes the device unusable. I updated my original unit to see if that fixed the issue… it didn’t. I had Amazon send me a replacement… same issue.UPDATE:If you’re having the above issues I was having change your streaming mode to mode 1 in the settings and it fixes everything. The company didn’t even suggest this.
