I returned another emergency radio to Amazon which cost almost twice the price of this one . I then ordered 2 PRONUS j-369 radios to replace it . I am very impressed with all of the features which this radio has including 4 separate methods to power it ( hand crank : solar /aaa batteries and rechargeable li lithium ion battery. It worked properly immediately out of the box . The ratings are very accurate concerning that it is a great product . I would rate it 4.8 on a 5 scale.
