I debated getting a fancier-looking, more colorful automatic kettle because I just moved into a new apartment (and the algorithm clearly knows how much I love colors because a ton of cute ones were being advertised to me). But I’m so glad I just went with this one and that I saved my $$ for other touches of color/fun in my kitchen. It’s a perfectly simple electric kettle and I literally use it every day. It heats up super fast and works great.

I need a kettle quick, when my old one quit working. This was the right price and available the same day. I was a bit skeptical of the 360-degree base, but having used it I find it way better than the style where the cord only comes out one side. And talking of the cord, it's a bit short but reached the outlets on the kitchen counter just fine, but I'd prefer a longer one to be able to move it out a bit more.

Still, it heats the water quickly and gets it to the right temperature for my tea, and that's all that really matters.

We had been heating up water on our electric stove for many years before deciding that it would be more efficient to get a kettle for heating up water for tea. This Hamilton Beach kettle works great. Heats up water really fast. Do need to be careful and not touch the exterior body of the kettle when using it as it gets really hot.

This is a great kettle with all the features you’d expect from a higher end kettle, but with a much cheaper price tag, which we appreciate. It looks good, there’s a light on it to tell you when it’s on, auto shut off, a measure on the outside so you know how much water is in it, I did my research and this was and still is by far the best kettle on Amazon in its price range.

We bought this to replace our older model Hamilton Beach kettle, which had served us well for many years and would have served us for many more had I not accidentally set the kettle on a still-hot burner on the stove! This one makes it easier to view the water level; I only wish it measured the level in American measurements as well as metric, but this is a minor issue. Very pleased with this kettle. It heats water to boiling very quickly and turns itself off when this is accomplished. Sturdy and built to last.
