Our 9 month old son loves the Amara foods! He’s tried a couple flavors and he finishes the entire portion. So great for travel, especially when you don’t have access to a kitchen. Love the clean/minimal ingredients, would absolutely recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for solid food onboarding

Amara baby food has been a fantastic choice for my baby’s nutritional needs. As a parent, ensuring my baby gets the best food is a top priority, and Amara’s commitment to providing nutrient-dense, 100% organic, and non-GMO meals aligns perfectly with my values.

The customization aspect of Amara baby food is a standout feature. The ability to mix the food with breastmilk, formula, or water to create the perfect texture for my baby’s developmental stage is incredibly helpful. It makes mealtime easier and more enjoyable for both of us, especially as we navigate the transition from liquids to solids.

The simplicity of the ingredients in Amara’s products is reassuring. Knowing that my baby is consuming whole ingredients like organic oats, mango, strawberry, banana, and amaranth without any added sugars or additives gives me peace of mind. The Ancient Grain blend, in particular, has been a hit with my little one.

Amara’s patented technology, which avoids repeated high heat processing, is another reason I trust this brand. It ensures that the food retains the taste, texture, and nutrients of fresh food, something that traditional baby food jars and pouches often lack.

Transitioning from breastfeeding to spoon-feeding can be challenging, but Amara has made this journey smoother for us. The brand not only supports my baby’s current dietary needs but also offers options for toddler snacks, which is great for future planning.

In summary, Amara offers a perfect blend of nutrition, convenience, and taste. It’s a brand that I trust and recommend to any parent looking for high-quality, healthy baby and toddler food options.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibilities are endless, organic, wholesome

So far I’ve tried both the banana flavor and the oats and berries.
I love that you can control the thick or thinness of the texture. The banana was great to mix with breastmilk as a transition to solid foods. At six months I used the banana to also introduce peanut and almond butter to do allergen exposure since either one of those on its own is too thick for baby to swallow and would pose a choking hazard. I’ve also used it to mix plain yogurt to do dairy allergen exposure.
I have had a really hard time getting her to drink from a bottle and when daycare has issues I just send them this packet to mix to ensure she’s still getting breast milk.

5.0 out of 5 stars So good, even I want to eat it sometimes

So convenient & good, my baby had tried all of them and these are his personally liked ones ! Love stocking up on them , sometimes I only use half the bag so it last pretty long ! Very convenient for busy moms like me who don’t have time to make homemade puree for my baby nor I refuse to buy the puree in the jars, plus these makes it so easy to store in a small space .

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad taste - Ancient grain - waste of money
Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2024
The Ancient grain taste too sour. Baby immediately rejected it. Even I tasted it and was really bad. It has big chewy chunks that could choke the baby.
Packaging was also bad. Came opened and the outside box was damaged. Not happy with the purchase. Waste of money.

OK so here’s the thing. I wanted to love this product. We have a lot of traveling coming up and a baby that is new to solids. It really is a great concept, freeze dried baby food that’s ready when you need It without the hassle of worrying about spills/packaging/finding It elsewhere etc.

I did try the product myself and It honestly really does taste like sweet potato BUT there are undissolved flakes of regular potato (think instant mash) that linger and make a gritty texture. When I purchased the product I was under the impression that It was exactly as marketed (sweet potato and raspberry freeze dried) and upon looking at other flavors as well I did notice they all contain… potato.

I should have been more careful in reading the label which I 100% take credit for and my daughter did eat It without a fuss? but the potato aspect seems excessive and not necessary for a baby

4.0 out of 5 stars Convenient and Tasty

I like how this food dehydrates well to be like bananas again. It's really convenient to have on hand also for a quick snack. I took away one star because one of the packages came empty. It was sealed and everything, just nothing in it. Not even dust. ????

5.0 out of 5 stars Son loves it

Didn't expect it. My son doesn't like oatmeal, even when I put fresh fruits and vanilla, all the good stuff in it. But he likes these oats a lot! He's 16 months and this food is encouraging him to use a spoon by himself
