I had one of these in my desk at work . . . it "disappeared" and I had to resort to a pair of scissors. Now that I have found a replacement I am so happy! It opens just about any package easily--I haven't found anything it can't open! and the small size makes it easy to tuck into the corner of a drawer for easy storage. Highly recommended!

Slice products are the absolute best! I keep mine on the refrigerator since it's magnetic and is very easily accessible. Any time I bring in a package, I reach for it and it slices open a variety of different packing materials. My favorite thing about it is the safety, though. It's a relief not having to use a box cutter or metal blade and it does not dull for a long time. I've already bought it for people I know will love it and have purchased extra for myself!

We move a lot and I wear one of these on a lanyard when we’re unpacking our boxes. It’s child safe, not a knife, and a daily-use item if you’re getting packages regularly

Sharp! Make sure you know how many sheets you want to cut through before using this! A self healing cutting pad is a MUST, unless you have a big stack of paper underneath. Pressure is good for cutting more than one sheet, but apply evenly.

NOT RETRACTABLE. Be careful with storage because the blade is always exposed. Not safe for children under 10.

The small size makes it versatile. I’m using it to cut pages out of a book and it gets in where scissors can’t.

Not sure what else to say? It's a good option for opening packages-- cutting through tape etc. It does the job well but the tip doesn't seem dangerous. I wouldn't push it into your skin, but it does it's job without being a razor blade.

I've had this little gadget for a little over a month now. Was a total impulse buy, but it's proved to be so useful. I used to open packages or slit tape on boxes with one side of scissors which then makes the scissors dirty and sticky over time, probably more dull, also ran the risk of cutting myself. The blade on this is small but sharp but I also never feel like I'll cut myself. I do feel like it's made my life easier. I LOVE that it's also magnetic, so I just stick it on the fridge when I'm not using it, then it's out of the way and I always know where it's at.

I really like the size and sturdiness of this knife. I personally use it as a seam ripper when l am doing clothing alterations. Now, l wouldn’t use this knife on all types of clothing because the knife is sharp and would cause a tear in delicate fabric. Use with caution.

It works ok. Most the time it takes a couple of passes to get the box open. Going back to a regular knife
