This is used for youth basketball and has a nice composite material. It does not feel the least bit cheap and performs as well as more expensive models, making it a great value. It has a nice bounce but is not erratic like a rubber ball. It gives you a nice touch off the rim and backboard. My sons coach often takes this ball to use in drills or as the game ball. I bought a second ball to use as an outdoor ball. Super durable and has held up to multiple basketball seasons.

I wanted an official ncaa college basketball. What I noticed is this basketball has much more grip than my previous basketball. Also, when I played on a dirty court my hands didn’t get dirty at all. It seems to be very durable which I wasn’t sure it would by from looking at the design of it. I really wanted this because my previous basketball was too heavy. I didn’t seem to notice a significant weighted difference when playing though.
