I purchased this for my nine year old granddaughter. Her music class at school was focusing on learning to play the recorder this fall. I gave her an old one-piece Hohner recorder I had, but I thought something a bit more “her own” might be a good idea.
I began looking for another Hohner recorder, but the reviews I read regarding the “Mr. Power Soprano Recorder” really made it seem like a better choice. It was. It’s a much easier instrument to clean because it disassembles into several parts. It also has a pleasant sound, and has been an easy recorder to learn on. I am pleased with the quality, but, most importantly, it has been, according to my granddaughter, a lot of fun to use with her peers in her music class. She “loves it!”
