Everything about this toy screams five stars, something I've come to expect from the VTech brand. Except one: the microphone holder. The microphone, theoretically, clips into the holder and stays put. In actuality, however, it doesn't stay in. Not sure what's going on there, but I've tried twisting and turning it every which way and it just doesn't click in properly. Functionally, it is otherwise a great toy with lots of different things to offer and very good sound. The kids all love it, even the older ones. And the microphone works well for amplifying their cute little sing-a-long sessions. Very portable. Might make a great car toy, as it would fit nicely in the lap on long trips.

We had really high hopes for this bc my nephew has an old school one that my baby loves and the mic.is her fav. Well this mic doesn't work. Can't hear your voice at all. Bummer

This giraffe themed toy is great. It has tons of lights, music, sounds to entertain your little one for hours. It also has a working microphone which is not something you usually find on a toy for this age. This will keep your little tike from 18mo to 4 years happy and introduce them to the joy of music.

This has been great! I love VTech toys. This specific toy is great for an introduction to piano and music, as well as getting sound stimulating. I played with my 3 year old for a bit to try to lean "Mary had a little lamb". We're not quite there but this is a great tool to get started.

There are 2 songs with the "book" that show you the notes on a scale but also color-code and number-code the notes for learning how to play the songs. When you flip to the page, the piano will start playing the song and lighting up the correct keys so you can follow along. The lights are a bit fast but doable.

There are 20 other songs you can learn through just the light-up sequence but that's harder without a book. Still, it's a nice tool for getting introduced to a piano. There are also other instrument sounds, a mic, and even a dj pad for scratching sound effects. I would gladly recommend this toy.

The VTech Zoo Jamz Giraffe Piano is an adorable educational toy that I'm sure my grandson will love!

I can't wait for him to visit and have fun playing with it. It's well-made and packed with entertaining features. This is a quality toy that promises lots of fun and learning opportunities!

This piano has kept my kids entertained longer than I expected! Both my 2.5 year old and my 11 month old have had fun playing with it in their own ways.

There are some neat features that the 2.5 year old has been playing with, like the lever that makes the music go different speeds and the microphone. The microphone quality is what you'd expect from a child's toy (ie. not great), but my 2.5 year old loves to yell "hello, hello!" into it. The cord is short (probably for safety reasons so it doesn't get wrapped around baby's neck), but it's so short that the kids struggle to get it to their mouth without picking up the whole toy.

I appreciate that it has an autoshut off after a few minutes and doesn't keep singing forever trying to get the kids' attention.

Many of the songs are ones we know, but they have "giraffe" substituted in, instead of whatever the traditional wording is. Not all of them are that way though.

Overall I would recommend this as it keeps the kids entertained and we like musical toys!
