5.0 out of 5 stars This is What I Have Come to Expect From James Patterson

This is a Classic-Patterson novel!
It had a wonderful story, with excellent characters, and an amazing ending that was unique even by James Patterson standards!
Throughout the vast majority of the novel, Patterson weaves three or four different plot lines together, and somehow manages to keep you sitting on the edge of your seat! Try as I might, I could not figure out not only how all the characters fit into the big scheme of things, but also how Patterson would pull everything together at the end for a resolution to the story that made sense!
All in all-- not only did The Master bring all the different threads together for a wonderful ending-- but it was even fresh, and compelling even by James Patterson standards!
As far as I'm concerned, it was a job well done, and another book that Mr Patterson can be proud of!

4.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Thriller

I picked this one up after having read Look Closer by David Ellis earlier this year. When James Patterson co-authors a book with another writer, I never know who does most of the writing. Lies He Told me is written in the typical Patterson format. It's an easy read with short chapters, but also includes the more sophisticated storytelling of a David Ellis book. This fast page-turner is sure to entertain fans of mystery and thriller genres. Recommended.

Really enjoyed reading about David and Marcie The back story on all the characters was good. Hopefully another book will follow with Kyle and Marcie back together as they were HS sweethearts. Great storyline throughout the book, just wish she returned the $$$. Again ope its resolved if another book follows.

Haven’t read books by James Patterson and whomever in a long time. Decided to give this one a chance. Glad I did. I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were believable and it was just a good read. You could really imagine the scenes as you read along.

I can’t give this book a 5 but with this rating system it’s hard. I say 4.7 though. Great story lots of twists and turns, never lagged. I feel that it needed more explanation on how Kyle came up with his original ideas about David. That was quite a leap in the book as far as I am concerned. I say this duo could do many great books together.
