Tips/extra info:
1. I would recommend nail prep. I spent a good amount of time filing & shaping my nails and doing cuticle care. I think this made the application easy and is helping the gel last longer.
2. I purchased some nail art brushes and used them to do the artwork. I used the gel color that came with this set and it worked just fine.
3. This set had just about everything you need to do your nails at home, including nail prep. The only things I would say it doesn’t have is a cuticle trimmer and nail art brushes. It is definitely worth the price!!

Okay so as I applied the polish the first coat looks super bright (you need three layers to achieve the colors in the pictures) that through me off a bit but I don’t mind it.
What I do mind and am not happy with is the way the polish cures. It doesn’t smooth out, you have to use more polish than you would with brands from Sally’s in order to smoothen the polish so that it cures smoothly. Also since I have to do thicker layers it caused bubbles in the end result.
As the 24hours are approaching I already have a piece of polish that chipped after washing dishes.
Normally I don’t experience this until the 5-10th day depending on the brand.
I give myself gel polish mani & pedi so that it will last a week or two. For it to chip in less than 24hours is disappointing. I did follow directions. Not sure what I did wrong or if it’s the quality. I will give it another shot and maybe just use a higher quality top coat.
