I was amazed with a number of features of this HandiCam! First, was the solid quality and feel of the camera itself. It was not the least bit "cheap" feeling, that I was really expecting, given the low price! Second, the sound quality was crisp and clear. The screen image was also crisp and clear with easy-to-use mode button navigation for the various settings. I didn't even have to read the instructions and was able to figure it out in a short time. There are multiple options in the settings for resolution, megapixel and other settings. Lastly, it is compact enough to use one-handed and is much more user-friendly than my other camcorder that I have had for a long time but have rarely used in recent years due to its bulkiness! It also came with 2 already charged batteries, so it was ready to use right out of the box. What a great camera! THANKS SO MUCH!!! I am very happy with it!

The 5k Video camera camcorder was a great deal and a great choice for a few select projects I planned on starting. This product is perfect for creating visual content for YouTube or Instagram or even podcast. The device features a remarkable 5k quality video camera with night vision settings and other accessories that make it perfect for the price point, it also offers addition features like, a hood for the lenses and a lenses cap that prevents scratching and damage to the Lense. This was the best option on video camera because the price was a great deal and even best buy said that could not compete with the prices on amazon for this particular type camera so I had to mention this and add a good review.

It’s a really nice camcorder set for the price range. I purchased it as a gift for my nephew who wanted to start taking filming YouTube videos a little more seriously and he’s thrilled with it. The kit comes with practically everything you need to get started right out of the box and it’s very easy to set up and use. Quality is good but definitely not on par with the likes of Red or Sony but those cost thousands and for the price I think the quality is actually pretty good on this camcorder, especially when you consider the extras!

video quality is excellent, motion control is good. well balanced in your hand and in a tripod.
the controls are standard and buttons are easy to push. battery lasts a while, havent't time it yet. sd card easy to us. wish i had two, i need to buy a light for it for night recordings.

My two older children (7 and 5) are very interested in making videos. They had been using our iPad and iPhone for their video work but those devices are awkward for little hands to hold steadily and aren't compatible with tripods so our expensive devices are often perched dangerously on ledges and other not so safe for electronics positions.

With this dedicated video camera, they are able to take their videos to the next level. The production qualify is much higher as the video is a lot less shaky and the image quality is significantly higher compared to using a phone or iPad. Battery life is extremely long and it can record for a long time. Audio quality is also much better with the onboard directional microphone. For the price, this is a very nice device and helps unleash our children's creativity.
