Everyone in our office uses these for labeling. They will write on anything. But they are permanent ink. Do not give them to a preschooler to draw with.

I always use sharpies in my line of work. Having this many for this amount of money is nice.
Wish I could customize sharpies to include my company's logo. Knowing that sharpie always work nice, including their pens.

after checking each one- seems like 1/2 of the markers in this package, are somewhat dry, and the orange one can barely make any mark. Compared to the black, red and blue in this package (and sold on their own), the other colors are drier, like have less ink...and I assume won't last as long. Have been using all the retractables since they came out, the ultra fine replaces a pen for me much of the time. I buy boxes of the black, or the packs or the black/red /blue, whenever the prices are lower. Interested in the colors, as I often 'color code' my notes- makes it easier to read at a glance, and the slightly bolder look as compared to a pen, makes it easier to read in general, if your eyesight is not great. So 10 stars for all the other sharpie retractables, ultra and fine- but will avoid the 'fun colors' in future. I haven't had any problems with the many colors of the 'fine' retractable, just these. These markers have really helped me, especially if you are writing (on paper) alot as I do, and need to read at a glance, it stands out a bit more then a pen...sorry I love these things, and I do put them in others xmas stockings and birthday boxes, along with 'super sticky' post its! Like to share any stuff I find handy...(and the ultra fine works well for zentangle, especially if you're doing that in a waiting room etc, you can zentangle with any paper you have on you.) OK, that's all folks.

It's good to be able to buy these markers in bulk. and save money. It seems I'm always looking for a marker around the office... but no more now! The only issue was that the box was very lightweight and arrived opened in the outer packaging because the bottom was not glued or taped.
