I tried the Elk Summer Sausage on it's own 1st I was so pleased with the flavor & quality I returned for the trio sampler pack.

By rating of personal preference - character profiling, flavor & texture:

1. Buffalo

2. Elk

3. Venison

I dare say that the Elk and Venison are most similar to each other with the exception that the Elk flavor note has a slightly more robust and distinctive profile.

Buffalo stands out as the very best from my own personal preference as it's an outstanding tangy fresh & delicious Summer Sausage hands down! I'll be sure to buy the Buffalo variant individually next time.

The taste is as expected. But they added pork to my variety pack. Slightly salty . It is ok but I doubt if it is a repeat.

The product taste great a little small for the price, but over all it's a good tasting product. I would've wished they offer bigger sizes maybe 14oz rather than just 7oz it's a little small. but the product is good.
