Allison is trying to get home when a lake-effect storm blows up in front her. As she slows down and tries to see the road, she notices a sign for an inn and decides to try to make it there for the night. As she turns in to the drive, she spins out. Luckily, she doesn’t do any damage other than ending up in the ditch. She grabs her overnight bag and hoofs it to the inn through the very nasty storm.
Luke has arrived at the inn just minutes ahead of Allison. He is not a happy camper and not looking forward to missing his appointment in the morning. After Allison makes it inside the inn, they are dismayed to find that the inn is undergoing removations and only has one room with a working bathroom. After much discussion, they agree to share the room as it has twin beds.
The owners wife lets them get to the room and then has them come down for supper with her and her husband. While talking to them, they get a bit of the history of the inn and both have the idea of trying to help get it back to its glory. After supper, Luke and Allison drag out the tree decorations and get the tree set up for the holiday which improves the look of the inn. They also find a hunk o mistletoe which comes with a list of names of people who kissed under it and have been married for many years after that date. Luke and Allison give in to their urges and kiss away. Will it really last for years to come?
