I needed a new tackle bag after some zippers gave out on my old one. I knew I wanted a small backpack or sling bag and at a reasonable price. This bag has proven to be "almost" the perfect solution. I will start with the one negative I have. The normal/small says it will carry two 3600 tackle boxes and it will... but its tight. There is not a lot of room left over to store anything else. Everything else you want to carry inside like soft plastics, extra spool of line, keys, wallet, cell... all get squished in the other pockets and accessing them becomes a bit of a pain. In the long run I might pair down to single 3600 and single 3500 just to free up some space. The positive! I like the choice of backpack or sling style - just keep in mind you have to lengthen the straps when converting to sling. It is well balanced, and straps can easily be adjusted. Material quality and zipper quality seem high. Water bottle holder is great and can adjust for smaller or larger bottles. I have not needed to use the rod carrier yet. The biggest selling point is the number of ways you can hook items to the outside of this bag. There are so many D-rings and loops on this bag you can ultimately carry a lot with some carabiners and some imagination.

So, just got it and I was impressed with the initial quality. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it is for my 10 year old and I think it works great. Love the carry options and the main compartment looks large enough to carry three of the large plastic tackle containers.

Ordered to use as a fishing packpack, has several large compartment, back compartment very large and able to hold plenty of tackle, other compartments are a bit awkward and dont hold alot, has several hooks and loops to attach whatever you may need, seems well build and durable, large padded straps are comfortable, down side has no smaller pockets for glasses, keys, phone ect, i will be giving this to my son to use and ordering one with accesiable smaller pockets to store the above items

This backpack is nicely constructed with lots of pockets and smart storage details. I ordered the standard size and it's a bit smaller than it looks. My tackle boxes are too big that I use in my other fishing travel bag. I'm giving this pack to my daughter in law (avid fly fisherwoman) and sizing up to the larger pack because I prefer surf and inshore fishing and use large lures and weights so I need to carry larger boxes
. Where I go, a backpack is the best if not the only carrying option and I don't want too big of a pack, but it needs to carry at least two 13.5 x 8.5 x 1.5" tackle boxes without busting at the seams.

Bag is just the right size to keep a fishing pack ready to go for my telescopic rod. Stows 2) 3600 boxes of lures and has lots more room for the other goodies. Love the shoulder strap concept, it's easy to access my gear, and it has endless snap and buckle possibilities for adding my field binocs and HT. Cell, wallet and keys are also safe and sound. Great value, highly recommend.

I recently purchased this as a presence and let me tell you, it has so many pockets for fishing gears, the weight and the build quality are yhe best, is so easy to use with the strap adjustment that it does not feel you are carrying all the needs with you while having a good time.

I was hesitant after ordering that the regular size would be too small, but it is not. This pack is full of thoughtful details, including a zipper to keep both straps together when using as a sling bag. All zippers and pockets are well made, and this bag is the perfect size for me using a few tackle trays, pliers and accessories like de-hooker. I would highly recommend this bag in this size if you don't want a big bulky backpack, which I did not.
