About this item

☀[Charge Visualization]The indicator lights can help you understand the charging status: the blue light is on (put in the sun), the red light is on (charging), and the green light is on (charging is complete).A short circuit occurs and all three indicators are off.
☀[Intelligent Protection] Built-in charging microprocessor, improved charging algorithm, can provide overvoltage protection, overcharge protection, short circuit protection, etc. It can prevent reverse charging and can be safely used for charging and maintenance of 12V batteries.
☀[Higher Conversion Rate]The regular convex points of surface distribution are conducive to the secondary propagation of light, absorb the radiant heat of solar energy to a greater extent, and greatly improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency.
☀[Widely Used] The included 3-piece SAE cable kit is plug-and-play,it can be used for cars and 12V batteries. Comes with carabiner and suction cup to meet your different installation needs. Suitable for automobiles, RVs, motorcycles, ships, snowmobile, etc.
☀[More Durable] The ETFT material can be waterproof and dustproof. A layer of epoxy board is added as a bottom plate, which is more sturdy (the broken panel will cause the charging efficiency to decrease). You can contact us at any time if you have any questions.

5.0 out of 5 stars good power

I don't drive this car often and it sits a lot. It will drain the battery in a week to 10 days. I don't mount this unit with suction cups. I just put it in an amazon box and set it on the ground. It keeps my car battery charged up. The solar panel is very thin but has a small box on the controller box on the back. Unit works very well!

5.0 out of 5 stars Stopped working after 2 months (Or so I thought) [UPDATED REVIEW]
Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2022
Original Review:
At first I really liked the panel, I have a Bluetooth adapter that reads battery voltage and I could see the charge go up if I sat there for a few seconds. I was checking voltage regularly (every 2 or 3 days) to make sure it was keeping my battery at the properly charged, which it was. So when I finally decided to trust this and not be checking it so often, it stops working. Now I have a dead battery and will have to pay to have it replaced. Not happy.

Updated Review:
Let me start by saying that the reason my battery drained was not this solar panel's fault. Turns out the Hands-Free Link module in my car had gone bad and was draining the battery even when the car was off. Once that was found to be the issue, thanks to a friend that has the same car I do and coincidentally started having the same battery drain issue too, he told me what was causing and how to get to it to unplug it to test if my HFL module was draining the battery. After the HFL module was unplugged I then though to take this solar panel out from storage and check, I had not used it since I labeled it as "bad" but never got to throw it away since I thought it did put out some power just not enough for my car. Well now I can say that my car can sit indefinitely, the battery will not die anymore and has not gone bellow 12.3 volts even after 3 weeks of the car not being used.

3.0 out of 5 stars Needs a fuse
Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2023
I don't drive my car as often as it would like, so the radio drains the battery. Having come outside to a dead car several times, I thought this would be a nice solution.

Unlike many users, I don't have a cigarette lighter, and I wanted to leave this permanently in the car, so I opted for the O-ring cable.

So I unscrewed the battery terminals, slipped the o-rings under the terminal screws, and put them back on. Before connecting the negative battery terminal I took a moment to survey my work. And good thing too!

The cables to connect to the battery are "backwards" from a standard SAE perspective. The red terminal is exposed, and the black terminal is covered, as if the battery were receiving power, and not a power source. Given the solar panel is supposed to be charging the battery, this makes sense on paper.

Until you remember that a car uses the chassis as the negative return to the battery!

So there I was, about to reconnect the negative terminal to the battery, with the positive lead connected and the solar panel hookup dangling against the chassis. Best-case scenario if I had made the connection is the wire would have acted as a fuse before catching on fire.

So I quickly un-did my work, reconnected the battery, and ordered a nicer SAE hook-up wire. In case something bad happens, this one has an inline fuse to prevent any catastrophe. The new one is also standard-compliant, so I could plug something different (I have in mind our traveling fridge-cooler) into the battery and have it be the correct orientation.

Maybe you're willing to risk it if you're using the temporary hook ups, like the clamps or the cigarette lighter. I personally would not. Don't slip and drop the wire against something metal!

This all said, the solar panel is quite nice. I like the status LEDs. I'm looking forward to not having a dead battery ever again!

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for me

I have this mounted inside of a car windshield to keep the battery charged. The car only gets driven every two weeks and every time I go to start it , it starts with no problem. Not sure why 4 stars as opposed to 5. I just have a feeling that it won't last long. But I have had it for 6 months now and it still works fine.
