We bought this keyboard for my son for Christmas, Dec 2016. He was just under 2 years old at the time. He absolutely loved it. We have had it for almost a year now and he plays with it almost every day. I had some concerns after reading several reviews, but I decided to buy it anyway.
Some reviews mentioned that it was not very sturdy. We haven't had any issues with it. My son is almost 3 now. He weighs 35lbs. The seat supports him, never had an issue. He will pick the keyboard up and bring it from one room to another. He bangs on the keys to play music. We have never had an issue. It still works perfectly.
Some reviews mentioned concerns about it being battery operated. I was a little concerned with this also, however, my son puts his mouth right on the microphone. Once I saw that, I was happy that it is battery operated and not plugged in. Also, sometimes, he wants his keyboard upstairs, or downstairs, or in another room. It is easy to move around. It takes 4 AA batteries. We bought batteries from the dollar store and they lasted from Dec 2016 to Nov 2017. I just replaced them today. We never turn the keyboard off. When he isn't playing with it, it just goes into the stand by mode.
Overall, I am very happy that we bought this and would definitely recommend it to a friend.
