I am a puzzle maniac and already had a puzzle board but it was too small for some puzzles and I also found myself turning it a lot and it wasn't meant to be turned. This one has a nice turntable to attach, but you don't have to attach it if you are hesitant to commit to that. Right now I just place the board on top of the turnstile wherever I am using it and it still works well and I can spin and move it easily. But then if I don't want to use the turning part I can just lift the board off it. So choices! Although if my cat stands on a side, it does tilt since I don't have it attached. :P But that wouldn't happen if I attached it.
One thing that I wish is that I had found this in a slightly smaller size. It is really large and most of my puzzles don't need that big a space. I needed something in between my smaller one and this one. So it's hefty and takes up half my dining room table. Not as fun to relocate.
I also love having the six drawers. Really helps with separating out the different patterns.
