I'm not sure what the individual "Rachael" above is talking about..

This is not a souls-like game, and it is not difficult.

Plenty of other reviews touch on the story, the gameplay, etc. (it's identical across all platforms), so I'll just comment on the port to Switch..

Graphics on Switch take a hit, but it's still a very good-looking game; Annapurna was able to preserve the atmosphere really well (I originally beat on PS5, on which it's gorgeous). I'm mainly playing docked going through an Mclassis and 4k Pro to enhance, and it's good enough (even on a 100" Hisense).

If you have the ability to play on more powerful hardware, go that route for sure. If not, you'll get the same game with some reduced graphics. The story will suck you in, and the ending actually got me good. And, it's maybe 8 hours taking your time.

if I wanted a try and die and try and die until I make it game, I would've bought another one

This wonderful mechanically, accurate cat game is pleasant and frustrating

Trying to please two different types of gamers it fails as there is no one-size-fits-all for gamers

scratching and searching until you find the right picture with the right code is unnecessary as is the overkill on the combat which ruins and takes you out of the experience

no thanks...I wasted my money with this, and hours on YouTube, trying to find solutions and workarounds

I have better use of my time

This game is fantastic. It is so well done, unique and has a a hauntingly beautiful storyline. My 8 year old play it so it is not too difficult, although I did help her on some of the harder puzzles and parts. It is an extraordinary game by an indy studio which makes it that much more astounding.

The trailers are fantastic. But, actual gameplay is a snails-paced exploration of a completely forgettable dystopian world and boring missions.

I’ve fallen through the map a few times when the backgrounds fail to load, had the jump prompts disappear, been looking at one jump prompt go to jump and it switches to an off screen jump location, had the run button just randomly stop working while I was running away, etc.
The game is very straight forward with easy puzzles. The only thing that makes it hard is the above glitches. Those have made the game frustrating to play. Atmosphere and story are not half bad. I wish I had waited for the games price to drop before buying.
