5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful and Efficient Pressure Washer for All Your Cleaning Needs
Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2024
recently purchased the Westinghouse ePX3100 Electric Pressure Washer, and it has exceeded my expectations! With a max pressure of 2300 PSI and 1.76 GPM, this pressure washer makes tough cleaning jobs effortless. It works wonders on my driveway, patio, and even the siding of my house.

The unit is compact, lightweight, and easy to maneuver. The included nozzles offer versatility for different cleaning tasks, from a gentle rinse to more powerful cleaning. I also appreciate how quiet it is compared to other pressure washers I’ve used.

Assembly was quick and straightforward, and the built-in detergent tank is a nice touch for when I need to soap up surfaces before blasting them clean. Overall, it's a great value for the price, delivering powerful performance without the hassle of gas engines. Highly recommend.

Got this item recently to clean driveway and pavers. All I can say is that's so powerful in a compact design. 4 wheels makes it easy to maneuver and doesn't tip over (like others). 2300 psi makes easy work of cleaning of years of built up grime on concrete. Best pressure washer purchase at great price!

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost Great-Full Review

There is a lot to like about the EXP3100 pressure washer except for a few concerns:
    PROS
    • Lightweight
    • Handle on top, plus lockable wheels
    • 35ft power cord with GFCI
    • Total Stop System
    • Includes 4 nozzles plus a turbo nozzle with holding spots on the unit.
    • Built-in soap dispenser
    • M22-14 screw connections on the machine and the gun.
    • Gun extension wand is metal instead of plastic and has metal connections.
    • Uses only 13 amps.
    • 3 year warranty
    CONS
    • Should have come with 5 nozzles, you can get the 5th separately from the manufacturer.
    • The soap tank is not removeable.
    • The included hose is way too stiff. Probably no worse than what others include but should be replaced.
    • The power switch should be rotary, not push on/off for easy visual indication of status.
    • The garden hose connector does not seem to be removeable.
    • Difficult to disassemble for repacking.
    • Did not meet continuous PSI rated performance.
If you are looking for a unit for cleaning fences, car detailing, grime on the deck this is probably a good choice. However, the nozzle orifices seem quite small in order to get enough PSI which limits the gpm performance. Many companies give their specs as best case, but real-world performance with the supplied parts is most relevant. I would recommend purchasing a 50 ft. flexible hose to get the best use and add quick connects for everything. The unit is light, has a handle and wheels. But the garden hose connector does not seem to be removeable. If I am dragging the unit around and the hose connector breaks, I am not sure this is fixable. So, I would probably carry the unit around anyway. The soap tank does not seem to be removeable so I would suggest using a separate foam cannon. I think this gives better results and eliminates the need to purge soap from the complete system after use. I was looking for a unit that would do everything, including washing the 2nd story siding and windows. None of the supplied nozzles will reach the second story. Using aftermarket second story nozzles I could just barely reach the second story upper windows. I would need to either get a much more powerful unit or add an extension wand. The extension wand would require using the units built-in soap container since adding the foam cannon on the end would not be practical. But having to drain the left-over soap out would be much easier if the container was removeable.
In testing I did get over the 2300psi rating when releasing the gun trigger but in continuous use I got the following results: Red (1450psi), Yellow (1650psi), Green (1300psi), Turbo (800psi). With an aftermarket 020 nozzle I got 800psi. With the Red and Yellow nozzles I got a bit over 1 gpm. With the Green nozzle I measured slightly over the 1.2 gpm machine rating. The factory offers a White 40-degree nozzle which I do not have. But I would expect that would give around 1000 psi which would be ideal for car detailing. Lastly the unit is simple to assemble but most of the parts are locking plastic pieces so once they are assembled, they are not designed to be removed. With a few minor changes the unit would be ideal, but I would change the rating to 1700psi instead of 1900psi as stated. At least this unit is rated close to actual performance. The electric units that claim over 3000psi and over 2 gpm at the same price are misleading and should not be believed. There is another Westinghouse unit at the same size and with slightly more power but I am not sure there is enough difference to justify the higher cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised

I previously had the Ryobi 1900 unit. While it was good, I wasn't sure about the Westinghouse brand but I wanted the additional PSI and the GPM. Not only does this work well (and better than the Ryobi), the attachments make it convenient to store the wand, nozzles and power cord. It's easy to put together as well. The unit is light and maneuverable. The wheels lock when needed but easily release when you choose that. The nozzles are very easy to change. All connections are easy to secure and leak free. Most importantly, the unit produces ample PSI and cleaning power.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small but mighty great compact pressure washer!!

I decided I wanted a compact electric but powerful pressure washer. After considering numerous brands, I decided on this Westinghouse ePX3100.
You will not be disappointed in this product. Very powerful with 2300 psi for a small unit besides being very affordable.
I ordered a separate 14 inch rotary cleaner and it worked efficiently and effectively with this unit.
I am 65 years old and this was very easy to use. So glad I purchased it.
    I highly recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Design, Very Functional

I had to replace my 2018 pressure washer that died, I was determined to find a good design that didn't tip over, was compact, super functional and had a bit more power and GPM volume. This hit the nail on the head perfectly, I used it for the first time today, this thing is super compact hangs on my wall now easily off of the floor taking up space. Plenty of pressure, quiet running, lots of volume of water to rinse. Easy to drag across the driveway to the next spot. Would absolutely buy this again.

The weight is perfect and the spray power is consistent. I use it to wash my cars, trucks and RV with ease. I love the 4 wheels as it moves around easily when I walk further. Have had it for about a year now and it’s durable. Ready to use out of the box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Pressure Washer
Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2024
This is an inedible pressure washer compared to my old big box brand pressure washer that had failed. The big box brand would easily fall over being tall with only two wheels, the hose connection was too close to the housing making it difficult to connect, the wand spray nozzle was adjustable but limited to wide spray or tight jet, materials were less robust, and the pump leaked oil causing it to overheat and lock up after only a few minutes of use. The Westinghouse design and materials are much more robust and solved all of the design failures of the old big box unit. The ePX3100 pressure washer is extremely stable with its four caster design, has quieter operation, and with the many interchangeable spray nozzles allowed many choices of spray pattern. The turbo nozzle was especially effective to clean concrete. I highly recommend this unit for value and performance.
