This ice machine make the most perfect nugget sized ice. The noise is moderately low and makes a lot of ice in about 10 minutes or so. It does not take up too much space. Definitely worth buying!

We have an ice maker already but when I knew I was having surgery and needed ice in large quantities, this one stood out because of the size of the ice. Once I got this and cleaned it, I ran a few cycles through and then started bagging the ice in 1 gallon zip locks to use for an upcoming surgery and wow, this thing is awesome! It puts out a lot of ice per hour and is extremely easy to operate. The ice that this makes is similar to the small pebble ice you see in fast food restaurants, and I love it for drinks but also to pack in bags to ice down my knee or ankle when needed. There is just something nice about pebble ice, maybe I'm weird but it makes my drinks taste better!
The machine is easy to clean, the entire top comes off and you can clean where the ice chute is and down into the machine pretty deep. I would say my only complaint is that the ice basket does not get completely filled because the pebbles stack up and trick the ice maker into thinking the basket is full. I wish there were a way that it could level out what is in the basket so that you truly get a full basket of ice. Other than that, this ice maker is amazing and just what I needed!

The ice maker does produce Sonic like ice. However, you better be ready to use the scoop to get the ice out and in the freezer or serve or it will melt quickly. You do have to watch it for it building an ice pyramid if you don't. The other complaint is that the light around the switch is supposed to be white hen it is ready. Mine stays blue and then goes red when its full or empty on water. The little suction cup that is supposed to be used to hold the ice scoop is worthless. It won't hold for long. But the machine works okay. I found it works well using store spring water for the ice. Less impurities to worry about. I would buy again.

The machine is quite a bit smaller than even my bullet ice machine which I thought was small so that was nice. The smaller size helps with my smaller kitchen counter and the lighter weight makes it easier to transport. So I set it up on my counter for at least 24 hours after unboxing it as recommended in the Manual before plugging it in and turning it on for the first time. After about 8 minutes or so, the first few nuggets began to drop out of the chute onto the basket below and the flow was quite steady after that until the basket was full. I guess it depends also on the room temperature and the water temperature as well. I just used the filtered water at room temperature instead of cooler water to speed up the process. I believe it is the recommended way and not using water that is too cold. Either way, I am ok with using room-temperature water, which is more than fast enough. The compressor runs quietly inside, almost like a humming sound so no problem with the noise. Overall, this is a great little nugget ice machine, great for any drinks, and chewable as well. Very easy to remove the basket and clean or initiate the self-cleaning machine process.

We just finished getting our Reverse osmosis filter installed in our kitchen this week, and immediately when we did we plugged this in and started using it combined with the RO water for ice, and it's been incredible.

Seriously, not only is this just like a nice ice maker, but it makes really well sized nugget ice, they taste great, it honestly makes a really good amount I think, and we're just really happy with it!

I will say, I don't personally think this thing could actually make 33lbs of ice in one day, like I filled it to the max level earlier and it made about 1 full tray of ice in I think maybe an hour. It seems to spit out 2 or 3 ice nuggets every 15 or so seconds, so like you do get a lot, but definitely not enough to fill a cooler or anything like that, definitely just enough for a couple water bottles or cups.

Overall though we totally love this ice maker and how relatively compact it is, it fits great in our kitchen next to our sink and we're really happy with it. I give this a 10/10, absolutely recommend, it's a great nugget ice maker at a really fair price for what you're getting.

It’s compact in size, relatively quiet and makes ice within minutes.
There’s a single button and LED light indicator that changes color to let you know when it’s making ice, full, cleaning or needs water. The ice does sometimes get hung up in the dispenser but easily clears once the ice is pushed down to the storage area.
My last counter top ice maker took 10min to make a batch of ice, was very noisy and constantly had to be cleaned so this one is a huge improvement so far. Very happy with it.
