Holiday season is here! During these family gatherings we always ran out of ice so fast, so having this portable ice maker definitely offered a nice alternative to refrigerator ice. No worries on running out of ice anymore. The size of the ice maker is perfect. It doesn’t take much space in my kitchen, and it’s also convenient to move around, even to the yard, and from house to house; no need to scoop all the ice out to take it to the dinning table or backyard. Can’t wait to take it our next event!

A pretty nifty ice maker. It's a not HUGE kitchen appliance, so it doesn't take up a large amount of room on your counter. Certainly smaller than a bread maker machine. And it has a very long power cord. What I like about it is the simplicity. Simply press start...and it starts spitting out ice in a few minute. That's the only button there is. Start/stop. I have had ones with all sorts of settings, and frankly it was sort of a pain. This ice machine is one touch, start and stop...that's it!

There is one thing to be aware of. The Ice that it makes is more like ice kibbles. When first saw them I thought that I might not like those tiny ice "cubes". But turns out they work great in drinks. I'm not sure why, but they seem to last as well as regular sized I cubes. I did notice that if you add the "cubes" first and then add whatever you are drinking, the small ice kibbles seem to clump together and perhaps that is why they last a good amount of time. In a thermos there seems to be no difference at all in how long the ice stays frozen, as opposed to a larger cube.

So making the ice is as simple as pouring in water and hitting start. If you leave it on and forget to remove the ice, it will stop making ice when it is full. As the ice melts, it will start making some more ice. The compartment where the ice is, is not refrigerated per se. But the compartment stays cold and keeps the ice frozen for quite a while. I tend to use a lot of ice, so having "instant" ice is something I love.

It's super easy to use and cranks the ice out quickly. The directions are great and easy to read. It has two functions- an ice making function and cleaning function.
You plug it in, pour the water in the bottom to the Max line and push the start button and you have ice dropping out the spout into the basket. It also comes with a handy little ice scoop and a drain at the bottom of the reservoir, to help clean.
I love that it's portable and not too heavy to haul around. It's perfect for BBQ's, patio's, parties or a spare ice maker at a bar (only as a back up due to the volume).
Great price point for the quality and usefulness of this product. If you need an ice maker this is a fantastic option.

I love how heavy it is, to me that speaks quality. It is SO easy to use and it really makes the perfect nugget ice and it's very easy to chew. The stainless steel is really good quality. Once you put the water in it immediately starts pumping out nugget ice. You don't have to wait long before you can use it. The self-cleaning function is not only handy but very easy to operate. I cannot recommend this machine enough. It is definitely worth the money.

This nugget ice machine works great. Although it is a bit heavy (at 33 lb.) it is firmly made. It has a self cleaning mode which is great! I have a bullet ice machine, but I have to manually clean it. I have used the machine for a couple of days and really. My kids and wife love it because they enjoy the nugget ice.

Unpack it. Remove all the tape and plastic. Rinse the parts. Fill with water. Plug in. Press the button. Easy enough for you? I had enough ice for two good size drinks in 30 minutes, and almost a full container in 2 hours. Our getaway has a small fridge with no ice maker, and this is perfect for making ice on-demand. No more buying ice, manhandling coolers, etc. BTW, if you're off-grid or running a genny, note this is labeled to draw 2.7A running.

I received this today and immediately opened the box, cleaned it per instructions and set it up on my kitchen counter. The ice bin was almost full within a half hour. This machine is well built and a bit heavy. Quality materials and well made. Ice comes out as a cross between crushed ice and mini cubes about 1/4". I love it, really great when my refrigerator doesn't keep up.

It makes so much ice so quickly I was make multiple blends of smoothies for my whole family at the same time. The sleek stainless steel look is also the reason I got this one, it looks better and more expensive looking than plastic ones. Lastly, the most important feature is self-cleaning, I dont have to worry about taking it apart and cleaning it. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase!
