Such an excellent design for indoor teppanyaki, with this range hood, we are no longer to worry about the odor and smoke came out from the grill! Working well and isn’t too much noise from this little thing!

When my vent-a-hood stopped working due to its age, replacing it would have required significant reengineering of the kitchen cabinets. To solve this problem, I decided to try a portable range hood, which I found and ordered.

This range hood comes with a three-speed exhaust fan and operates quietly, making it a suitable choice for everyday use. The filter on the back effectively eliminates strong odors, such as bacon, providing a reliable solution for intense cooking smells.

The range hood features a sleek design with a large head and a circular, cone-shaped base, constructed from durable aluminum with a stainless-steel tub. While it’s well-balanced, it can tip over if not carefully placed, especially near the stove, so caution is needed.

Overall, this portable range hood has proven to be an effective alternative to a traditional vent-a-hood, offering reliable performance without the need for extensive kitchen modifications. It could also be a great option for use with an indoor smokeless grill, effectively managing smoke and odors in a compact space.

It's quite large but quiet. It does work. Doesn't actually take away all the smoke but it does help significantly.

I absolutely LOVE to cook and while I like to always try new dishes, sometimes those dishes are very strong and aromatic. For instance, I love balsamic vinegar with some of my dishes, my two teenage daughters refuse to come downstairs when I use it. (: kids. So I thought about looking into a device or gadget that would absorb some of that smell so everyone can be comfortable downstairs. This is also a great product when cooking seafood/fish. I found this amazing portable range hood. I honestly had never heard of such a product. So when I found this I was invested right away. Now that I have this home, I can attest to the quality of this range hood. It is a game changer. My daughters are super happy that I decided to bring this home. Below, I will outline some of the other features that appealed to me that ultimately led me to choose this one over other similar ones on the market.

I loved the portability aspect of this tabletop range vent. The instructions on how to turn it on/off and change the speed settings are a little different. Haven’t quite figured out the high/low settings. The instructions say it only stays on high speed for 1 min then goes back to the normal. But I haven’t timed it to see if that is actually true.
The light turns on every time you turn the fan on, and you have to hold down the button to turn it off.
The multi-function single button use is a bit cumbersome. I’m trying to cook and just want to be able to turn the fan on and off when I need to. I don’t like that I have to fiddle with button and double press, triple press, long hold etc to just get to a basic setting. I was willing to overlook this still because how cool is it to have a portable tabletop vent fan.

Now after a few weeks of use, I noticed that the front grill was warped. I imaging from the heat. No instructions on how far away to keep the unit from the stove, but I always had it 6-10 inches away. Kind of disappointed by that. I still like the fan, and it really works to get the cooking smells from traveling through the house, but not sure how durable it is long term at this point.

This portable range hood is great. My mother in laws over the stove range hood went out so we tried this and it worked really well. She likes that she can move it around easily and it's not loud. Very satisfied with this range hood and would recommend.
