What a journey for this young couple to have embarked on. Wasted years can never be made up and truly make me sad. I love the idea that best friends can actually be much more. Also found this tale to be a true reflection of how others, including family members continue to treat those with a serious illness long after the situation has been resolved. Once fragile, always fragile. You have to reach out and grab what you want in life, full speed ahead. Fun little read.

This was a super quick and cute friends-to-lovers holiday romance. Luke and Nora have been best friends since they were little. Unfortunately both live thinking the other doesn’t feel that way. Luke is back for his annual visit with Nora and when Nora tells him she’s going to join a dating app he realizes if he doesn’t make a move now he may never get a chance too.

Overall a cute read but I wish the nickname that Luke has for Nora was explained ever but it wasn’t and that’s what he calls her through the whole book.

Luke and Nora. This was an excellent quick and easy read with lots of fun. I love the childhood crush that led to true love. The childhood illness story line was so relatable. I totally understand the shielding your child from activities that seem so harmful bc I had a sick child. He was 13 yrs old before I was able to quit being over protecting!. I enjoyed this happy ending story.

Nora & Luke have been bestfriends since they were kids... he moved next door to her, and instead of ignoring the shy Nora, he and his brothers befriended her. Nora had been sick most of her life and was mostly home schooled. Her mother took keeping her safe to a whole new level. Despite all of this, She and Luke became really good friends, but she always wanted more.. She just didn't want to ruin their friendship.
Luke has loved Nora since they were kids... but, he could never work up the nerve to say anything to her. So, he ignored his feelings and kept life moving.. had relationships.. went to school.. all the while, secretly pining over Nora.. and being her bestfriend.

Luke had recently broke off his engagement and was heading back to his hometown. He's a big time football player now.. and has plans to finally tell Nora how he feels. His engagement to Olivia always felt wrong... especially when she didn't approve of his friendship with Nora... He had somewhat cut some ties to Nora to appease Olivia.. In the end, he couldn't live his life without Nora in his life and with a woman he didn't truly love.

Olivia has her own plans.. it's time to put away her crush on Luke and start gaining some experience. She's 27, it's time and it's foolish for her to love someone who can't love her more than a friend. She and Luke have made plans to meet up... and she tells him about her plans. Luke does not like this one bit... He knows he's kept their relationship platonic, and it's his fault she has no idea how much he loves her.. but, he'll be damned if she shares herself with anyone but him. In Luke's mine.. Nora is his and she will always be; now, he just has to make her see it.

It took Luke while; but he got there... Overall this was a good instalove story. I just hoped we'd see Luke freak out more.. maybe give Nora a fling or someone who was interested in her that challenged Luke. She did have to endure years of watching him hooking up with random women.. him getting engaged, and ghosting her for a bit. Otherwise, I liked it. It was quick, steamy... and you get the HEA.

This book is sooooo swoony!!! Part of me wants more because I love them sooooo much. But also part of me is like nope, stop being greedy, this is soooo perfect.

You get it all, the swoon, the fireworks, the steam, hello, yes, the steam!!! The best friend mmc offering the fmc spicy lessons because she is gonna go on a dating app and he is like nope, you are mine!! Eeeekkk! Soooo hot, soooo fun! Amazing! This is my second Stella Banks books and I am so in love with her writing!!! An absolutely must read!!!!

Mountain Wish is the sixth installment in Stella Banks’ Fit Mountain Insta-love series. In it, she chronicles the romantic journey of Nora Fleming and Luke Scott. They were childhood friends. Luke left their town to puruse a job as a professional baseball player. He returns hom determined to reconnect with the beautiful curvy Nora, the object of his childhood crush. Will he be successful? Does he run into any obstacles? How does Nora react to his return and attention? To find out you must read this book.

Yet again Ms. Banks does a remarking job chronicling this second chance at love short story. Her lead characters are multi-faceted and charming. The dialog, both conversational and internal monologues, allow readers to better understand Nora and Luke. Ms. Bank portrays their backstories, their pain and their happiness in an entertaining pace that allows the readers to root for them. Nicely done, Ms. Banks.
