This is a GREAT security solution. At first I wasn't sure the .5 inch roller would be big enough, but it absolutely is. The roller is easy to use, covers everything and is quite handy. They are smaller in real life than you'd expect, but they do get the job done. The only drawback I see is that they aren't refillable, so once you've run out of ink on the 3rd roller, you'll have to buy them again. It is worth the investment though, for the PEACE OF MIND you get knowing your identity is protected.

This little gadget is so cool. Simply roll it over any personal or private information and poof it's gone! I used to spend time shredding documents but shredders in my experience are slow and frustrating with constant jamming not to mention a mess of shredded paper everywhere when I empty the shredder. This is far quicker, far less frustrating and just as effective. Really handy!

This does a good job of covering up barcodes in security information. I do wish the ink would last longer. I’m on my second one as I use it a lot

Been using this since I got it, and it does its job to block out names, addresses and account numbers. I still have to shred some papers, but that's only because the Guard Your ID doesn't work as well on some slick papers. But that's OK, it works well wherever I use it. Takes some practice, though to use the right pressure when you roll it. Worth getting!

Product does cover up, however, in the commercial they show one swipe and everything is blacked out. I have found it takes at least 2 and usually 3 or morre swipes to adequately cover names, addresses, account numbers, etc on letters and envelopes. Also, the product is much smaller than I expected. It appears the commercial uses the large ID security roller. I purchased the regular size which was on sale. The large size covers an address, the regular size does not.
