I put off getting an at-home gel kit for years because I like the pampering aspect of going to the salon. I just could not justify the cost anymore and got this when it had a coupon so it was less than one gel manicure from the salon.
It's super simple to use and gives great results. You do need to take your time so the gel doesn't pool in the creases of the nail bed, but it still doesn't take very long and the results last for at least two weeks with very minimal chipping (if you don't pick at them). I like that it came with a base coat and 3 different top coats for different looks. The variety of colors isn't exactly to my tastes, but there is enough there to work with, especially with the different top coats. Yes, the bottles are small, but what do you expect at this price? And honestly, I don't know that I would want them any bigger because I would never use them up before they got gross.
The only thing I would have preferred is if it would've come with maybe one or two fewer colors and more bottles of the base coat since that is used EVERY time. That said, I've done 5 manicures now between my daughter and myself and the bottle is not yet empty. (So if people say the bottles are good for one set, they are clearly using too much). I would also recommend having some of that gel remover stuff of a nail drill to get it off because that is what takes the longest.

Bought this and not even a couple days later it just broke… all I would get was the Vizio loading screen, if the Home Screen did load— the apps wouldn’t load. Thought it was an internet connection issue, had no issues connecting, especially after disconnecting and reconnecting. Did a total reset, update, and restart, still couldn’t not get anything to load and would take up to 30 minutes to load the Home Screen. Assuming I received a defective one, considering most reviews I saw were good. Works well… maybe too well?

I have tried lots of colors from this kit and they’re great and long lasting!! In this photo I actually purchased a slightly darker red (GAOY UV Gel Polish - 1149) than what was given in the kit and used the kit’s Base and Top Coat and it worked perfectly as if I’d used their brand nail color. (No hate to the colors in the kit, I was just looking for this color specifically)
I’ve already put 3 of my friends on this and would encourage anyone to just commit and buy it bc you won’t regret it!
