This is the second year in a row that we only use DryTec pool shock. It works perfect. Our pool is clean. We have a 35,000 gallon chlorine pool and we use 3 bags a week. Other pool shock increased our CYA levels and made our pool chemistry off. Not DryTec. And it's a great price on Amazon!

This stuff was a life saver after I had to drain my pool down after a chlorine lock disaster. Great price and great value. It does take a little to dissolve but it does work well. I order this stuff regularly now.

With all the rain it was difficult to keep the algae away, this product cleared up the green and balanced out my pool chemical composition fairly quickly!

I had been paying $50-55 per box of a 12 count of 1lb shock. These were a 24 count box of 1 lb shock for around $87 so i am pleased with the purchase. Available chlorine appears to be in same percentage as what i was using so decision was based on economics and as advertised product to do the same job.

Second case of this chlorine shock and it works great - I alternate this and stabilized granular so I don't push my cyanuric levels too high over the course of the season. This also adds calcium to the pool which is beneficial for concrete pools.

This is the best value, bulk shock that I could find. Does it's job and it's strength is the same as the ones that are double the price. No problem and if the price stays the same, I will be buying again.

I was using a more expensive CalHypo shock. This works well. Not quite as potent but about $50 less per 24 pack than the leading brand.

Great pool shock! I use it in my above ground pool. Just be sure to brush it off the bottom as it will settle after you pour it in. It has more chlorine than larger well known brands so it works better. It is also less expensive!
