About this item

In the shadowed corridors of Demon Reform Academy, a sinister presence slithers within the veins of its victims, promising a darkness more violent than any demonic power.

For the last three months, I survived the desert campus filled with vicious demons while being haunted by the scars of my past. But when students began succumbing to the grasp of dark magic, my power spiraled out of control, intent on consuming every bit. With an uncanny ability to devour the darkness infecting others, I became a beacon for the attention of Dark Veil, the depraved society pulling the strings behind it all.

With the violent snap of matebonds, the Fates bound my soul to five demons. Three of my fated mates, once enemies, dropped to their knees, apologies ringing hollow against the echoes of their torment last term. But even with the ache in my heart, two other matebonds connected me to caring, loving, and safe demons—the embodiment of what I had longed for in a mate.

As I struggled with my newfound powers and my matebonds, Dark Veil showered me with gifts, drawn to the ‘untapped potential’ they sensed within me. I refused to bend to their will, determined to destroy the darkness they sought to wield—but what I wanted wasn’t on their agenda.

Matebonds, former enemies at my feet, dark magic infections, and the looming threat of a dark magic cult—this term at Demon Reform Academy promised a whirlwind of danger and desire.

This book absolutely devastated me. It is so well written and truly captivating. I will warn you that it will completely torment you and wrap you up in the world, The groveling was top tier as promised and that cliffhanger oh my goodness. I absolutely can't wait for term three and thank you for releasing in December so we don't have such a long wait until the next term is released. This book was an absolute roller coaster of emotions and I felt as if I was feeling all of ups and downs alongside the characters that you grow to love and want to protect fiercely. A few certain males grew a very special place in my heart this book and I can't wait to see what she does in the next book. Thank you as always for such an amazing captivating story

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 2nd Term!!!

Demon Reform Academy: Term 2 is a fantastic sequel that raises the stakes and dives deeper into the characters we love (and love to hate). Bram, Skel, and Dex’s groveling after their actions in Term 1 is heartfelt and emotional, while Hunter and Jenni bring all the support Pandora needs. The story balances redemption, drama, and spice perfectly, with new challenges forcing everyone to confront their pasts. And just when things seem to settle, Lyra drops another jaw-dropping cliffhanger. If you liked Term 1, Term 2 is an absolute must!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read!!

This book was everything I wanted and more! Honestly I didn’t expect to cry so much this time around but I somehow managed to cry more in this book than in book one while reading the first two chapters! I love the way Lyra has a way of making you go all in when it comes to her main characters. I feel so much for Pandora. I’m so happy to see growth from all the characters but especially Pandora! She is so precious, I’m so glad she’s finding ways to stand her ground and defend herself from those who bully her! I’m so glad she’s trying new things and fully giving it all to living her new life. Her relationship growing with her dad is also so cute. Death is a total girl dad and I love to see it. The groveling was everything! I love the way they grovel to her so differently and some even in ways we wouldn’t have seen coming! This is definitely a book that gave us the groveling we need and not in a way that felt too over the top. I love the way each of her mates meet her needs in different ways. I’m enjoying the guys and the way they’re building connections to each other as well. I could go on a four page rant of how much I love this book if I’m being honest but I don’t want to give away too much. If you’re a Lyra Winters fan like I am, this books did not disappoint and was worth the anticipation and waiting. One last thing, as the Queen of Cliffhangers, Lyra did not disappoint. I will say this though, I definitely did not see this one coming! I can’t wait to read term 3 next! I’ll savor this one in the mean time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Should you read this book? The answer is YES!

Should you read this book? The answer is YES! Great second book in the series. You wont want to put it down! With more twists pulling us toward the sinister plans of the secret dark society, Dark Veil , tender scenes with mates and some really good groveling from the others. Not to mention the cliff hanger, this one hurts!

Pandora is growing into her own. Her friendship with Jenni is fantastic! She is the kind of kick butt best friend everyone wants to have!

I am glad Pandora isn’t a pushover after her mate bonds snapped into place. She (and Lyra) made it clear bullying isn’t okay. I loved how unique Skel, Bram and Dex make their groveling, showing their own personalities. Though Pandora never had a loving family she shows her mates what one is, even when they have hurt her.

I can’t wait to find out what more Nebula is from all his comments. It really seems like Death is going to get a second chance mate, that will fit perfectly with he and Pandora, I hope this happens in book 3 and isn’t dragged out. The scenes with the mate bonds were okay but left me hoping for more.

But the ending, ugh. I need it to be a nightmare! I can’t get it out of my head. I can’t wait to see what Death, Jenni and her mates will do to Charlotte Vane and the Shadowhearts. Term 3 cant get here soon enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars We love a good grovel

I thought I was ready for this book after the last one and that cliffhanger we had. I was right but also wrong. Skel, Dex and Bram realize just much they messed up. Like big time. They spend a good chunk of this book coming to terms with that and realizing they have to do better for Pandora. The grovel is pretty delicious in this book. Pandora doesn’t forgive them easily, at all. But they do get the time to actually learn a little bit more about each other here and there. Reed and Hunter are there to support her no matter what her decision is regarding the other three. I also really liked meeting her new friend. Jenni’s adorable but also it’s hilarious how much she goes on and on about daddy Death and her love for him. Pandora also becomes a bit more confident in herself and her skills thanks to Jenni, her dad and her guys. That ending though, Jesus. I need the next book like now.
Side note: We love a mate who reads spicy romance novels for research purposes.
