5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!

Builds pressure quickly, quiet as a church mouse, more than enough cfm for my needs. Pin nailer, airing up tires, etc.

Small and easy to move, seems sturdy, time will tell. Nice change from typical noisy “shop” compressors.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much quieter, tank capacity seems limited.

The compressor came with the wrong size connector in place, but there is an open port 90 degrees from the wrong connector, which I discovered after removing the original connector. The motor is markedly quieter than my old compressor, and seems to have plenty of pressure for the things I use it for, like inflating car tires. Compressor comes on very quickly, even though the tank started full, but with a quieter motor, it's not much of a problem. Hopefully, it's reliability is good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Compared to my old Harbor Freight 3ga Hot Dog Compressor. Night and Day!
Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2023
My old Harbor Freight hot dog compressor was shot and was taking 10+ minutes to fill up, and it was also obnoxiously loud so I knew I wanted a 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor to replace it with.

I found these Limodot compressors and decided to go with the 2ga with the BIG motor because I wanted the best performance in the smallest package. And WOW what a difference.

Even with the huge motor the new compressor is actually SLIMMER than my old Harbor Freight so it can sit more flush against the wall which is exactly what I wanted, and barely only 2-3 in longer.

It's SO QUIET and literally takes less than 1 minute to fill up completely. Recovery time is only a few seconds. Even with a smaller 2 gallon tank it's not an issue because the motor offers excellent CFM to work with. I used it with an air duster nearly non-stop and it had no problem keeping up, that was impossible with my old compressor even when it was new.

Harbor Freight offers a 2ga 'Ultra-Quiet' compressor but it's nearly $200 and still more expensive even on sale. This Limodot offers MORE CFM and has a slim design at a much lower price, it was a no-brainer.

The air connection is a 'push' design so you can simply push in a hose and it will lock into place. The compressor seems to only fill up to 100 PSI which is the same as my old compressor but I'm fine with that.

The only 'cons' are that it is heavier to carry than my old compressor because of the much bigger motor but it is still VERY portable. I didn't want the 6-gallon because it would be too big to move around. If you really need that extra volume you can connect an auxiliary air-tank which is what I will turn my old compressor into.

Seems like a good value. Very quiet. Does the job,
Slight assembly required. Instructions aren’t very good. But if you’re going to use something like this compressor, you’re probably capable of figuring out how to assemble.
Did I mention it’s quiet (for a compressor or it’s size)?

3.0 out of 5 stars Very quiet, questionable tank quality.

The media could not be loaded.
Runs about the same duty cycle (percent time running) as my older Craftsman 3 gallon oiled compressor with the same constant rate air bleed. Significantly quieter. I can talk on the phone within 5’ of this compressor with zero problems.
I’m not impressed with the coating on the tank or the wheels/axles that were supplied. Tank has rust on the support leg and the axles don’t hold the wheels all that well. Gauges have the red area overlapping what the pressure switch cycles the compressor off at. Still within the specifications in the manual, so that’s not a big deal, though it would be nice for the danger zone to be where the pressure is actually dangerous.
