    My hands feel tired and achy after a while of crocheting with any other hook. I did not take into account the weight of the other crochet hooks. But this crochet hook not only charges fast, and not only does the light work well, but the hook is lighter and a lot more comfortable than all of my other hooks! My hands and wrist are a lot less tired! And it moves through the yarn like butter! The smoothness is top teir! This would be an awesome gift for a fellow crocheter, even a beginner! 110% Recommend!

    Up to now I've only used metal hooks. I actually just returned another set of hooks because they weren't perfectly smooth and just tore up my yarn.

    But these? These are the best hooks I've ever used.

    The heads are extremely easy to swap out but there's no jiggling or hint that they might pop off. They come organized in their own case with specific, fitted spots for each head. So you're not going to randomly lose them or be digging through the entire thing trying to find a specific size.

    The light has two different settings depending on how much brightness you need. And there's no guess work about how to turn it off/on.

    The head is also more pointed that a metal hook making it easier to get into tight places--my current pattern does puff stitches and these have turned them into a DREAM they're so easy to do now!

    The handle is well curved with enough grip to not slide around but not so much that holding it is a task on its own. Basically, it's comfortable with a really nice, ergonomic shape. I have issues with the flatter ones so this is great for my larger hands.

    The heads give their sizes in black, easy to read font. My ONLY complaint is that they only give the size in millimeters, not the letters. But that could be a non-issue if you're familiar enough to know what's what.

    This helps big time with darker yarns to be able to see the stitches, light is bright and has one other dimmer setting. However my problem that I had, which is a minor unless you are someone with severe sensory issues, was that the hooks have a hard seam on them that catches on yarn and even slices the fibers of the yarn when rubbed against it too much, so what I had to do was lightly buff it off with a nail buffer so as not to alter the shapes of the hooks. Other than that it’s a good product for the price.

The plastic feels a bit flimsy and the hook doesn't always hold a charge while off, but that's okay! it charges super fast and the battery life is pretty decent! it's all worth it to be able to crochet in the dark, even with darker colors and black yarn!

    This hook is amazing! It works perfectly and it did not come broken. I got it so I could crochet in the dark on road trips, and at night when I’m in bed so I don’t have to have the light on when my husband is trying to sleep. The light has 2 settings which I love and the lights is perfect. So far it is has held up great, and it’s super easy to charge. I would highly recommend this for the price. ????

    It's not junk, but it's not great. Lets start with the hook sizes. I'm in the U.S. The hooks we have are alphabetical, and a "G" hook is 4.25mm. (Nope, didn't realize this till after I ordered the hook set.) Instead of going down, I went up to 4.5mm instead of 4.0mm for my "G" hook project. Needless to say, I won't get my project to size according to patterns, but with the items I crochet, I don't think it's a deal breaker. I would like to see this set (or at least replacement hooks) that would match the letter for U.S. hooks.
    LED light: well, it tends to bounce off rather than light up a project (in my opinion), but that may be something I have to adjust my eyes to. Everyone loves LED lights, but they tend to hurt my eyes. I'm not gonna give up just yet on the light, however.
    Hooks: I read complaints of squeaking and yarn coming off the hook. Using Red Heart Super Saver yarn, I noticed a squeak when I tried it. When I used the DIY glow yarn by Lion Brand, there was no squeak. As for the yarn falling off the hook: I've always used metal hooks. With my crocheting technique, I had no issues. However I suggest to those who are having this problem to look at their technique. These hooks are plastic after all, and when I put them up against my metal hooks, while minimal, the hook is a little "deeper" on my metal hook of the same size. Same shape, but a little deeper cut compared to the plastic. So, I did a small change-up on how I hook the yarn, and I haven't had any issues.
    Finally, the case: I'll be making a case for these, I think. It's a bit cumbersome to have to take the hook off in order to put the unit away. It would be nice if the hook could stay on when putting it away in its case.

    I bought these for a friend that crochets. She always wanted one and I thought this is a good start because it was a reasonable price and had good reviews. She really likes it! I was glad she did as it was a part of her birthday gift. She like the thickness of the handle, said it was more comfortable in her hand than the thin when she was used to.
