    So much Red Heart yarn is so rough that I can hardly stand to work with it, but this yarn is so soft, and it has a glittery thread around it, that is just beautiful when worked up- good job on this yarn, Red Heart!

    I have been a fan of caron yarn for years, but I've only recently splurged on the simply soft yarns. I'm making my daughter a cardigan, and its working up just lovely! My other daughter has already put in a request for a cardigan of her own from this yarn as well!

    I have purchased this yarn several times. This last skein has so many knots in it, pieced together, looks like used yarn! About every 25 ft there is a knot! Beware of what you might be getting. Beautiful but knotty.

    For my money, Caron’s Simply Soft is just the best yarn for crocheting afghans. It’s soft, and gets even softer after working up and washing. A standard worsted weight #4, it’s thickness is consistent making it a great yarn for beginners and advanced crocheters alike. A great product and a fabulous value.
