    I recently got this watch for my 8 year old, and it’s just what I needed! I was looking for something with cool features but didn’t want to spend a fortune, especially since I was worried she might lose it—an Apple Watch was definitely out of the question.

    This watch is perfect! It has all the fun stuff they want, like fitness tracking, games and notifications, but it’s super affordable. The design is nice and not too bulky, so it fits well on their little wrists.

    Setting it up was a breeze, and she enjoys wearing it. Overall, it’s been a great find, and I’d totally recommend it for other parents looking for a kid-friendly smartwatch!

    My daughter really wanted smart watch just like my Apple . But she’s way too young for a real expensive smart watch so it’s a great compromise! It’s a great smart watch for kids for the value and perfect for kids in elementary school. It comes with a lot of functions that I was looking for in a smart watch. Many smart watches for kids don’t look good enough or have very little functions. The design of this watch and colors are really cool and stylish. It works great too and easy to use. So my daughter is in love and wear it all the time!

    My employer has a fitness incentive program that has recently added in incentives for kids (such as kid themed virtual races) to get them more physically active. They offered fitness watches through our employee program, but all of them require a phone at all times. Our daughter is only 7 and having a her own phone is out the question! We chose this watch as it does not require you to be connected to a device at all times. You will have to connect it to sign up with the app, and then at least sync it to app every few days to download the fitness tracking info. We use our daughter’s kindle fire for kids tablet and it works great.

    There are several watch faces to choose from and some customization, not a lot but more than what we needed. There are a few games on the watch and it does have the ability to sync to a phone and be used as a typical “smart watch”. But we bought it for the sole purpose of NOT NEEDING a phone.

    Our daughter absolutely loves her watch! She says it fits well and very comfortable. She even wears it at her gymnastics classes and out on the lake. This watches is water resistant but not water proof. Washing hands is okay but do not swim with it. The battery seems to last about 5-7 days with normal wear, a little less when she plays the games on it. We have had this for about 3 weeks now and she is just about to finish her first virtual race of 30 miles!

    The Butele Kids Smart Watch has truly been a delight for my child. The long battery life is a parent's dream – no more constant charging, and it lasts through days of active play. The cute design, especially in the charming purple shade, adds a fun and personal touch for kids.

    Navigating through the watch is a breeze, making it easy for even the youngest users. The inclusion of sleep mode and a pedometer encourages healthy habits, and the 20 sports modes ensure there's an activity for every mood.

    The array of games has kept my child entertained, but the slight discomfort after wearing it all day is a minor drawback. While it doesn't hinder the overall experience, it's worth considering for kids with sensitive skin.     We are almost a week in and my 8yo daughter absolutely LOVES her new watch. Her older cousin has an Apple Watch annd she got very jealous on our family vacay. Well, I couldn’t bring myself to spend that kind of money on her yet for something that will probably get lost or broken in a month… so here we are.

    First, i was able to easily charge up the device. (If the polarity seems reversed, you literally just flip the charger piece the other way and it snaps together and charges quickly). Seems to hold a charge for days! Seems way longer than my Apple Watch.

    The new watch easily synced up with her Apple iPhone 7 running 15.8.2 software. I was worried the necessary app wouldn’t work since this thing is so old (it isn’t even an active phone - just a Spotify player and picture taker). Worked like a charm! As long as Bluetooth is enabled it should work fine. Check app details first for minimal software requirement to be safe.

    We’ve tracked lots of steps so far. She loooooves checking her fitness progress like mommy to see if she needs to move more. I love this for her!

    Not sure how accurate the sleep tracking is but she has been wearing it to bed and trying to get more sleep.

    I setup alerts to drink water every 30mins and it works! Reminds her to take a few sips. She’s bad at that as I think most kids are. As an 80s child, not sure I even owned a water bottle until I was 20 ????

    The only negative so far is that the band is huge and wraps all the way around to the edge of the watch face. If her wrist were any smaller it wouldn’t work. It’s made for kids I get it, but it is totally an adult size band. For comparison I put it on my wrist and you can see how it fits nicely with room even for a bigger wrist. I’m 45. Also, the band is wider than my adult Apple watch band and screen is about the same size.

    Not bad things, but just seems very chunky and some petite kiddos may not like the fit.

    If anything changes I’ll come back and update! So far amazing purchase and even my husband thought I bought her an AppleWatch - looks and acts like a legit smart watch!

    This ended up being a great choice for my 4 year old. I've been able to track her sleep, she's telling time, and likes seeing the choices of different screens. I only have two issues: My kiddo is very petite, so I do wish it came with a smaller strap choice. I also wish the games were easier to find because they're sort of buried. Other than that, this is a great starter smart watch for younger kids!
