This is a very solid racing wheel. I was relying on a much older steering wheel controller that only worked on my PlayStation 3 and PC. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use it on any of my modern consoles. I figured this racing wheel would be much more futureproof, because it has a clever workaround for making it work with pretty much any system. You simply just have to plug in an original controller into a USB port on the racing wheel itself, and you will be ready to go.
Since I prefer racing in VR, I was looking for something that supported multiple configurations, and this wheel supports 270 degree and 900 degree turning with a toggle switch on the bottom. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the wheel directly if the game you are playing doesn't have any settings available. I tested this wheel on my Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 (with PSVR), and Oculus Rift (on PC) and this wheel worked great on everything I tried.
One thing I noticed when making this wheel work on Nintendo Switch, is that you have to connect a Pro controller to the USB port, but also make sure you turn on "Pro Controller Wired Communication" in the settings. Also, it's best to make sure you are using a quality USB cable that can transmit high speed data and avoid using any cheap knock-off cables.
On the PS4, the controller can sometimes fall asleep by default and make the steering wheel disconnect in the process, but you can get around this by going to the power save settings on your PS4 and turning off the automatic sleep mode on the controller.
For PC, the racing wheel worked without the need for connecting a wired controller to it and I didn't have to mess with any driver installation.
The rumble feedback on the wheel feels great also, especially in VR. When you go off the track or start driving on rough terrain, you can sense it on the wheel. The wheel doesn't have the type of force feedback that suddenly wiggles the wheel left and right, but most games handle that in an annoying way from my experience, so I prefer to just have the rumble. The tightness of the wheel feels really great and quietly returns to its center position realistically.
This wheel has made me want to find or build a wheel stand of some sort, but the suction cups and clamps add enough flexibility to attach the wheel to pretty much any surface in the meantime. Out of the box, you will have everything you need to get started at least. Overall, I am really impressed with this wheel and I love how universal it is with all of my consoles.

4.0 out of 5 stars PXN V900 - So far, so good (enough for the price)

Just received it today. Started playing around with it. I primarily bought this to use with American Truck Simulator on Windows 10 PC. Took a quick look at the "manual". No mention of drivers, no drivers included. OK, must be plug and pray.

Hooked it up, brought up ATS. It was recognized as "Wired Wheel" in ATS. It was functional after configuring for the most part, but no vibration. At this point, I hadn't changed it from "X mode to D mode" via holding the mode button for 3 seconds. Backed out of ATS to the desktop. Held mode for 3 secs, a couple of flashes and everything looked the same on the wheel. There should really be an indicator for what mode you are in. Also this brought up some weird Xbox One stuff on my desktop. Anyway...

Brought ATS back up, ATS doesn't recognize that the previous configured controller is connected, so reprogrammed all of the buttons in D mode, hoping to get some vibration working. Nope, same result. Back out of ATS again.

Quick search on the internet shows drivers available at e-pxn.com . OK, download the drivers. Go to extract the zip file, Windows didn't like the funky characters in the filename. Renamed the zip, extracted the driver file (a single executable).

Go back into ATS, still shows up as "Wired Wheel". At this point, I know something's up since I watched the pxn setup video for ATS and it's detected as something else in his video. Regardless, remap the functions again, same result. Back out of ATS again.

Go into device manager, find that the wheel shows up as an Xbox 360 controller. Right click, uninstall, then unplug the usb cable, then plug it back in. Hopefully, this will force it to take the PXN driver. Also switched it back to D mode. From what I understand, this thing will always default to X mode when first plugged in.

Go back into ATS - finally see that ATS has detected the device properly, remap the functions again, finally have vibration working.

    All of that aside...

The clamps are pretty stupid. I can't see how they could possibly work unless you want to use this wheel like a pair of apehangers on a Harley. The clamps are huge and I can't see any scenario where they wouldn't get in the way of someone's legs under a table. This is my first wheel, so I don't know how these normally are secured in place. The suction cups are pretty useless as well. I'll need to figure something out on this, not that big of a deal.

The buttons... in "D mode", 2 of the 6 lower buttons are tied to the paddle shifters. I couldn't figure out why my config kept getting screwed up until I looked closely. Would have been nice to have this information in the "manual". These buttons are the middle buttons. Again, stupid placement. If they must share buttons why not the ones furthest inward so they are easier to avoid?

The pedals... when laying flat on the floor, me using an office chair, they are super-uncomfortable. I had to tilt the heel upwards. Again, will have to work something out for these, as well as to keep them from sliding around. As others have said, they're pretty lightweight.

For ATS, I'm using 900 degree, "D mode", and Low Sensitivity. I tried it on medium and high sensitivity and I was bouncing around the lanes like a pinball. It wasn't pretty.

All of that said, so far, so good for cheap Chinese junk. We'll see how long it lasts. I have pretty low expectations. If I can get these things secured well, in usable positions, and everything holds up, I'll stick with the 4-star review for ATS alone, although I do plan to try it out on Xbox One with NASCAR racing. If it also works for that, it will be a bonus.

Thus far, it has been compatible with all of my games on PC and Xbox One. The length of the cords could be extended. There is some redundancy in the functionality of certain buttons and pedals.

I’ve own two PNX products before i purchased the Pxn V900. The steering wheel i purchased before was the PXN V3 pro which works very well and even connects to my steam deck. But i was looking to upgrade so i purchased the PXN V900. It claims to be plug in play but thats not the case. When connected to my steam deck it didn’t work at all but that i can understand. But when connected to my laptop it isn’t recognized at all. I went through all the steps it says online. I downloaded the drivers and i tried to update the firmware BUT YOU CANT when trying to update to both firmware’s they have online one says my firmware is higher than the one I’m trying to update it too and when i try to use the other firmware its says “unknown device”. I’ve contacted PXN support but they literally told me to follow what’s on the website after i told them i did. So yeah don’t buy the PXN V900.

Good. Not amazing for the price. Controller wheels are tough because there are not many midrange price points. Wheel is good. Sturdy 900 degrees and 270 both feel good. Comes back to straight easily.
Downside is the pedals are not great. and the clamps can come off pretty easily in use without having suction also. Bought it at $130. Would have felt really happy with it between $90 and $110
