Very entreating and really a learning game for kindergartens, his teacher mention this game since they are already learning first grade curricula in the second semester of Kindergarten. No problem installing it on Windows Vista and Windows 2000. No problem navigating the game all by themselves. JumpStart 1st Grade

Mac Users OS x 10.6-Don't buy this version

As a previous reviewer wrote, this version of Jumpstart will not work on newer Mac's. I have OS X 10.6. The evaluation part works but once you start to play the game somehow the sound goes down to barely audible. My granddaughter could not hear any of the instructions. She got frustrated really fast. Too bad, Knowledge Adventure didn't tell us that the program would not work on newer MACs before we bought it. Knowledge Adventure SHOULD have a free upgrade posted on their web site to download to fix these bugs. I am $$$$orry that I did not take the time to read the reviews.-

A great updated version of the classic I loved as a kid!

Played the original version decades ago when I was a kid. Thought that I’d buy the newer version to help my niece with her distance learning during covid. It was so nice to see her explore the world of Jump Start while learning at the same time. It’s easy to use and navigate and the characters and games are fun! It’s definitely helped break up the monotony of Zoom learning. I’m looking forward to purchasing the next games in the series

I bought this product in order to get my 6 year old son more interested in learning to read. So far, he has loved using it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good program for education and fun.

Head Start on Basics

I bought this software for my 6 year old grandson when he was only 4. He has grown to like and understand the concepts presented in this program. At first I explained what to do at each exercise, but now that he is about to finish kindergarten he can do all the games on his own. His favorite game is the music one. I highly recommend this software for preschoolers getting ready to start kindergarten.

I had high hopes to use this with my grandson for summer practice. It said Mac compatible. However, it does not work with a new Mac. This product is too obsolete as formatted to be used.

As promised and fast ship! My children love this series of CD's- highly recommend. Jump Start makes learning fun. My now 14 year old used this series and had so much fun, so I purchased 3 CDs for my 5 and 6 yr old for Christmas.
