5.0 out of 5 stars Best stroller for many reasons
Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2024
I really love this stroller. To get the durability and quality that it gives, I’m ok with how heavy it is. I like a bit of an arm challenge anyways. I imagine most people who are seriously considering getting this are athletic and like to feel strong. But it’s only when moving it up and down stairs or into the car that you’re having to feel strong. Though because of how big the tires are, it’s possible to keep the stroller on its back wheels when going up and down stairs, which makes it easier. Pushing this stroller is a breeze whether you’re running or walking. It glides so smoothly. We used my friend’s plastic stroller for a trip and hated every second on the uneven sidewalks and going up and down curbs, even on the pavement, simply because we had experienced the amazing ride quality of this stroller. I ran in the snow yesterday and it was hard because of the snow, but the stroller worked great. And the tires make it high enough that the bag didn’t drag in the snow. The tire size also makes curbs so easy to go over. I mostly chose this version of the Bob stroller to get the bin that closes and that’s been awesome too. I haven’t had to worry about anything falling out and I have plenty of storage to hold things for long walks. I do want to mention that folding it with my small sized hand isn’t the easiest because of how wide the bar is, but it’s easy for my husband. It’s also not the smoothest with folding and unfolding because of the front tire catching on the bag or needing to reposition the front tire so that it lays flat, but it works good enough for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Folding stroller and other things I like

If you want an easier way to fold, it’s best to use both hands to do it! I simply use both of my thumbs to press the yellow button and then twist. My husband tried to teach me the one handed technique and I was only getting frustrated, but realized that my hands aren’t as big as his. So using two hands was a lot easier for me. Other than that, the product is great! You will need some oil for the brakes because if it’s raining, the brakes will squeak. I would recommend a large vehicle because it does take up some space regardless if you take the wheels off, but again easy to assemble. It is adaptable to different car seats if you get the adapter for it. I would walk with friends and it’s so easy for me to walk in grass and different terrain compared to their Nuna strollers. Wish I would have gotten this before the Graco.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top tier suspension for a stroller. Terrible hand brake (can be fixed)

I think this is a pretty good jogging stroller. Where I live there are a lot of off-road trails so I definitely needed something with as much suspension system as I can get. I can honestly say that the stroller does deliver on this front. I added a Britax adapter to hold my Gen2 carseat with no problems. They are justable handle bar is great but really the standard features the very chunky shocks and nice pneumatic wheels.

OK so now for the bed. The handbrake is awful. The emergency parking brake is fine. But for a stroller this expensive the handbrake is just horribly designed. It takes a lot of force because the short plastic, non-ergonomic lever pulls a brake cable that routes to a box which then pulls TWO cables going to each wheel’s drum brake. That’s a lot to ask of a few fingers.

It’s a bad design. So I set out to fix it. First I ripped the existing hand brake lever and cables out. Then added two bike brake levers and all new housing and cables that go to each wheel’s drum brake. This way pulling both levers at the same time doubles the amount of brake force from stock. The bike brake levers are also longer that you get better leverage and smoothness. BOB really should have just used a quality bike brake lever instead of the “toy” quality brake they decided to go with.

If you want to do this mod, you’d probably be able to have a bike mechanic do it.

We love our stroller. We are a very active family so this product has come in handy so often. We are able to load it up for a long day out and about. My husband and I both run, which was the main reason for the purchase and we can’t rave about it enough. It is on the heavier side and it does take up a bit of trunk space but so worth it for our family.

4.0 out of 5 stars For the price? Should be seamless

We had nothing but issues assembling this. The left wheel would NOT slide on, as the part it was supposed to click into was manufactured incorrectly. My husband had to loosen the nuts, pull on the brake line and retighten to make the wheel slide on. Before that, it was SO tight it wouldn't even spin.
The hand brake on the top of the handle is EXTREMELY hard to pull, as in - if you needed to stop the stroller from careening downhill, you would need to be EXTREMELY strong and even then, when pulled ALL the way in, it only slightly brakes. It does not fully stop the stroller.
We used it today and baby liked it, it has shocks but still bumps when on gravel or rougher terrain - but not as bad as a normal stroller. I like the sun shade & storage - All in all, I think for the price - it seems a little cheaply made and if my husband wasn't around, I would have had to send it back
    - ALSO - It doesn't seem very intuitive to me - We couldn't for the LIFE of us figure out how to open it right away - it took some serious frustration and maneuvering to discover how to open it. It doesn't fold down super small - overall, for the price - I don't know that I could recommend it. It is just EXTREMELY expensive for how clunky it feels. It will get the job done for taking our kiddo on rougher terrain, but thats about it.

This is truly all terrain, it goes thru everything! Deep sand, rocks, hills etc. I have no complaints, only little downfall is it is a little bulky to carry around. But overall it’s a good investment!
